How to change map roation in PCServer-UDKGame.ini



  • I’m looking to make a server with only FFA map rotations. My issue is I’m afraid to mess with the files in case I mess 'em up. I believe this is the part I need to edit:

    But I’m not sure what to edit and how. Can I just add a break in order to remove the maps from rotation without having to completely delete the code line?

    Is there a way to do it without having to delete lines of code? I’m not going to remember where/how to put what/when back in is my issue haha

  • Alright, I tried doing it and it didn’t change anything on the list. The maps are still coming up. Do I need to change something in the DefaultGame.ini?



  • You need to restart the server and amend the startup map in the command line (consult your host if you don’t have access to it). PCServer-UDKGame is the only file you need to change for the maplist.



  • I restarted the server, but I don’t know what you mean by the startup map. I have access to all the files, I believe, so editing things shouldn’t be a problem. I just don’t know where to edit them at.



  • In the shortcut’s properties, where you have

    .exe" MAP_NAME?steamsockets….etc
