Chat prompts from voice commands

  • Voice commands can be really useful right now, but sometimes it can be a bit hard to tell what command is being used based on what the class is saying, which can lead to some misunderstandings.
For example some of the “I’m sorry” commands, when said by the Mason knight, can sound more like taunts with “Walk it off!” and “Two for flinchin’.” When I use the sorry command after accidentally killing someone the last thing I want is for them to think that I’m taunting them afterwards. And in some cases it would be helpful to know who was the one who used the command like for when you use “Follow me.”

So I think it would be a good idea to show certain messages in the chat window to clarify what was meant by the command. A bit like in TF2 and other Valve multiplayer games. It could also be helpful to show some commands to both sides because the “Respect” command can sometimes sound like a taunt as well, which can leave the wrong impression after a good fight.
