Won't launch (Windows 8)(Solved)

  • Game tries to load from Steam but it stops before the splash screen comes up and gives no error.

    Things i’ve tried;
    Deleting and directly copying over a friends game files.
    Deleting and downloading it over again
    Verify Game Cache - Many times it’ll find 1-6 files but it doesn’t fix anything.
    Ran the debug, says Failed to find file for package Core for async preloading.
    I did have DLL errors before, but i took steps to fix those, i downloaded or copied the proper dll.files over.

    Here’s my last Log File

    Attached a dmp file as well. Been at this for a few hours without any luck, hopefully someone can help me figure it out.

    EDIT : Forgot the DxDiag, so here it is.

  • Fixed it, turns out it doesn’t like working with the OSD overlay from MSI afterburner :(
