Server crashes when max players goes over



  • Our server crashes when it reaches the second objective on TO maps. I am kinda new to this so any help or ideas would be great. The server basically restarts.



  • Every TO map?

    Try launching the dedicated server with UDKLogging.exe instead of UDK.exe so that it generates a log. Then attach the log file here so that we can see what it says.

    It would be the Launch.log found in steamapps/common/chivalry_ded_server/UDKGame/Logs. It looks like you may have attached the right log file but it doesn’t show much data - it doesn’t even show players playing the first objective.

  • Yes we are, we’ve set it up on our own server, however, we’re not hosting through a company.

    Also, since we’ve disabled vote kick we haven’t had this issue (so far)



  • That’s the problem for the time being until Torn Banner fixes a bug with improper player counts being displayed. TCAdmin doesn’t like it and closes the server down.
