  • I was only able to play for 40 minutes. Now I get an UDK.exe error.

    I tried to re-install DirectX. Windows says I already have the latest version.
    I tried to run a “verify integrity of game cache” on Steam. Same Problem.

    Sorry for the delay in someone responding to you. Try running Windows Update (check optional updates too), if nothing, try installing this to see if it will repair the Acxtrnal.dll: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2388210

    Try Chiv again.

    If it is the same error, try copying the Acxtrnal.dll file to a safe location (your desktop or your home directory) and then try installing that Microsoft Compatibility Update again to install a clean version of it.

    Huh. Well that’s different… progress though, maybe? Double check all the Windows updates are in.

    Then verify the game cache through Steam.

    If that doesn’t work, try running the Windows System File Checker tool to make sure nothing in Windows is corrupted: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Joined a server, picked a class, clicked join… bam, nothing happened. I could only roam around a spectator.

    Joined another server, picked a class, clicked join, I managed to respawn but my sound got away.

    Meh, I’m out. I already have War of the Roses. Not going to spent more time on this game.
