Black screen on launch

    Basically, every time I launch this game, I get the banner, but then all I get is a black screen and on the top it says: Chivalry Medieval Warfare (32 bit, DX9)

    Every time I click the black screen or press buttons it crashes and I have to close it.

    I have been trawling the internet for the last couple of days trying to find out how to fix it - alas, no luck.
    I have tried changing the resolution both on steam and through steamsystemsettings.
    I have tried uninstalling then installing again.
    I have tried “verifying integrity of game cache”

    I just can’t find anything to make it work!

    My laptop specs: Toshiba C660D
    Dual-core AMD E300 processor
    Hard disk: capacity : 250 GB
    drive rotation : 5,400 rpm
    graphics adaptor: type : ATI Radeon™ HD 4250 Graphics
    memory : up to 893 MB shared memory with 2 GB system memory installed, and up to 3,067 MB with 8 GB system memory, (with pre-installed 64-bit operating system)
    memory type : shared

    below I have included a log as apparently that can help find the cause.

    If anyone has any ideas how to get it working, I’d be very grateful! Ever since I got this game I have wanted to play but can’t ):
