Clientside shield raised animation doesn't drop after flinch

  • I’m still trying to figure out the steps to reproduce this so I want to verify if at least other people have experienced it.
    Normally, when you are successfully attacked around your shield, you flinch and your shield is forced down from it’s raised position.

    Occasionally, I would get hit yet my shield animation would remain in it’s raised position until I let go of the block button. Switching to 1st or 3rd person still showed that I had my shield raised.
    To outside observers, they would confirm that my shield was lowered the whole time and were confused as to why I would continuously let them attack me without action.

    So, if someone hits you around your shield and it still appears raised after a flinch, you’ll have to reraise it otherwise it’ll look like people are hitting you through your shield.
