Friend Fire Balancing Mechanic



  • Add a combat countdown:

    How it works: (on combat)

    If a player attacks (Even if it hits nothing) or parry/block (Even if it hits nothing) a countdown will start (Like 5 seconds).
    While the countdown is on, friend fire can happen. (Just like works now)

    How it works: (out of combat)

    If there is no countdown on (A player haven’t done any offensive/defensive moviment), If he takes friend fire, that damage received will be reduced on 75%. However, all damage done against him will be reapplied to the source on 100%.
    Friend Fire in this situation will result an auto vote kick.



  • No no no no. Bad suggestion, easily abused, and unbalanced.

    On pubs, watch closely what those guys do and act accordingly. I don’t trust 'em. ;)
