Most Recommended Computer

I am going to purchase a new computer soon (the one I use currently is on its way out) and was wondering what model anyone would recommend for someone looking to get into PC gaming, such as Chivalry or SW: The Old Republic?
I would prefer a laptop, but I would not be opposed to getting a desktop and am willing to shell out up £500, or thereabouts.

build your own its cheaper and better than what you get from prebuilt.

Ha, if only I could! I wouldn’t stand a chance at making my own computer, I’m hopeless with that kind of thing. xD

It’s not like you have to make it all from scratch, you just need to buy the parts and assemble them.
