Steam Greenlight
-
WE MUST GET THIS GAME ON STEAM GREENLIGHT
-
Agreed, that’s free publicity at its best.
-
Oh.
~omg i love cryptic dev messages~
-
I logged in just to write this…
-
We’re already approved on Steam… going on Greenlight doesn’t make sense when you already are approved.
-
Hmmm, could always get disapproved, then greenlight the game hahahah. Not really, that would just be stupid :P.
The amount of crappy games on greenlight just make my eyes bleed, I don’t think people would even see Chivalry unless they were actually looking, since it seems to be one good game to every 5 pages, the rest is garbage :P
-
Even if you are already approved, it still makes a lot of sense. Why? Well. Guys. Marketing. Kickstarter is one thing, but Steam is another. Sure, they will be able to see you on steam later, but not now under the kickstarter campaign.
-
I kinda saw this as early publicity to Steam users but perhaps being already greenlit for Steam conflicts with its main purpose :D
-
Greenlight is a way for games to get approved, not a marketing tool. Putting a game up after it has been approved would be grounds for removal from Greenlight. There are other(better) ways to advertise the game through Steam closer to release.
-
Well that clarifies things significantly.
-
I didn’t know you guys were approved on Steam! Thats great! Will I be able to pre-order it through Steam because they have a ton more payment options compared to amazon payments. OH! OH! IT COULD HAVE TF2 GENUINES
-
Yeah, i think being able to buy it in steam would give the game allot more customers. And I could imagine some new weapons and new hats for tf2. Oh gee the medieval mode would feel so right. 8-)
