Antisotropic filtering (I think)



  • hey there everybody

    I have a little problem with terrain textures, the game for the most part looks great but terrain drops to low res after a few meters, theres literally a line on the ground and after that its welcome to uglyland :(

    i forced AF to 16 trough the ini…

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\chivalrymedievalwarfare\UDKGame\Config\DefaultSystemSettings.ini

    (it had another name before but i think it got changed with the latest update)

    …here, but with no result whatsoever (its enabled through the Nvidia SystemControl)

    and my specs are

    Intel® Core™ i5-3570K (3,4 GHz – 3,9 GHz)
    8 GiByte DDR3-1600-RAM Corsair
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti
    128-GB-SSD (Samsung 830 Series)
    1000-GB-HDD (Samsung HD103SJ)

    any ideas, its not gamebreaking but it annoying sometimes :)



  • Was going to bump my old thread, but I wont:

    "Hm, just like to post seem to fix the issue by editing the UDKSystemSettings.ini:

    MaxAnisotropy=1

    to

    MaxAnisotropy=16

    also switched

    MaxMultiSamples=1

    to

    MaxMultiSamples=4"



  • hm, i only changed MaxAnisotropy to 16 but left out MaxMultiSamples, ill try that, thx
