Speedhacks



  • Read in another Thread that speedhack detection is kind of worked in the current patch.
    Did they actually implement something to detect them?

    Just played on a Server with a fucking speedhacker…
    Speed set to i guess about 1.3-1.5 the running speed
    Not too noticeable but if you play the same class
    and he outruns you completely it becomes obvious.
    (on the map with the agatha bomb cart, till i reached the river he was already
    on the enemy spawn point lol )

    Of course he was also on top of the scoreboard with
    his additional lightning fast attacks
    (and i know about downward overheads and dragging the weapon
    into people ect.)

    These are the speedhack detection options for server admins. Sadly, they don’t do a damned thing at the moment.

    :berz: hmm hope they fix this… ^^ :berz:
    Usually i like the duelling servers but with this hacks…
    I dont complain when i get outplayed with better movement
    and feints… but sometimes i am really not sure if a player
    gets 10-0 in duels every single time several times in a row ^^
    or players with a 1000 to 50 winratio lol

    The problem is also that the people (which are good players) usually
    dont care about accusations of a player anyway
    Just too many got accused for things like downward overheads from noobs
    (which looks like a speedhack to them)
    Speedhackers can always say l2p noob ^^ or i am just leaning into the swing, whatever

    Kinda annoys me extremely…
    This really needs automatic detection
