Death Animation: Sprint Death
Let’s say a Vanguard is charging a knight, and the knight sidesteps and slashes the Vanguard to death, I say there should be an animation that takes into account directional momentum and so they slump forward and down.
but what I would really like to see fixed is vanguard´s charge not interrupted when you hit him during the charge animation. I find that annoying.
Anything that promotes physics is a +1 for me. ;)
They didn’t want animations that move horizontally much. For clipping and glitchy spasm reasons.
Thats why in the death animations most of the movement is vertical.
Though instant ragdoll with momentum kept for the charge would be ok.
Yeah, its really strange when a Vanguard is leaping at me, I throw an axe against him and he stops mid-air straightening up and catching his neck, totally losing the incredible momentum he worked so hard to acquire.
I always support new/better death animations.
