Way to disable chat?

I´m running the game on a super low res because of my shitty computer, and everything is pretty cooll except the chat is now enormous and covers 1/4 of the screen, how do i counter this?

Check your input options.

Or use ToggleHud in the console. (That will remove EVERYTHING however, health bars and all)
