Today I was using the Hatchet on MAA and got 14 kills, however no XP went towards getting the next Axe it was still on 21.

Pretty sure it’s server side. If I try to level up a weapon tier, I always make sure that the server is counting my kills towards my unlocks.

Yeah, not all servers are ranked, thus you will not get the unlocks.
ALthough I’m currently having this issue on my servers, as since the patch, they are no longer ranking/unlocking, so I’ve contacted them to see what the dealie is.
