RE: Poll on throwing mechanics.
I mean why is it easier to dodge a throwing star than it is a round shield or Dory spear.
I’ve been arguing this point all over the place… what you get when you have people who don’t understand physics or combat.

RE: Duel Wielding
Isn’t it supposed to speed up the attack rate as you go? I recall reading something along those lines…

RE: Knight helmets?
because far as they are concerned a standard knight helm is just the same or the game is still buggy as hell.

RE: So about that 64bit…
It’s okay, as usual we get the weak ass run around from TB.
Subject: Why the decision to leave support for 32-bit OS?
@Andrew:This was already answered in this thread, and is also reflected on our minimum spec page.
viewtopic.php?f=103&t=24299&p=208438#p208438
http://store.steampowered.com/app/241280/On 32-bit Windows, processes have 2 GB of userspace memory address space available, and even less than that has to actually be filled to cause memory allocation failures. The ‘out of virtual memory’ error message is misleading.
Again, we’re working on memory use reduction, but 32-bit Windows is going to remain unsupported in C:DW. I doubt there are any 32-bit CPUs that meet our minimum specifications (putting aside the 64-bit requirement part of it) anyways. You could be on a 64-bit OS. Ours isn’t the only studio that’s dropping 32-bit support.
All you did was just repeat what we already know;
~ one person say it isn’t dropped but steam and others say it is.
~ I don’t think specs are the issue when everyone runs higher requirement games (at max settings) like Rome II, Shogun II, Skyrim, New Vegas, Metro 2033/Last Light and etc -
RE: Why the decision to leave support for 32-bit OS?
so mods got nothing else to say on this?

RE: Dual wielding viking
A good commentary on dual wielding in real life, and why some of the things listed here are the way they are.

The relevant part starts at around 2:30From the way I read it I was thinking, “damn it not a dumbass defending video game mechanics.” but he actually knew what he was talking about. The only thing he left out was that dual wielding (in the case of musashi’s school) was suited for multiple opponents as you could cover both your left and right. Yes, generally speaking it is weaker one handed but he stresses training with a sword in each hand so it becomes more natural; and you don’t need to cut someone in half, you just need to cut them enough to kill or incapacitate them.

RE: Pathetic Release.
Probably is an animation error, but ninpo taijutsu aka ninjutsu by many (correct spelling) focuses on quick and precise attacks to be used in a “surprising” manner. That’s what erks me bout the ninja sword slash… baseball anyone?
The shuriken animation is also only used for practice, not combat. You don’t just drop low and make the “I’m throwing” movement. Especially if it’s short distance you can hurl them with pretty good force just by wrist action alone (they only weigh like a 1-2 grams).
I’m not defending glitchy animations, just being a nerd/history jerk. ^_^;;

RE: Pathetic Release.
@Funkmaster:
Definitely not worth the fifteen dollars paid.
Or in the case of other like myself $20 (chivalry sale) to $40 (full price) as I only tried it for the DW “DLC”. I see plenty of knight games, if I wanted to play a knight I’d play one of them.

This confirms the incompetence (lies maybe) at TB…. nobody is working together or passing messages.
