This mod is definitively great. It is a shame that it has so few players (especially from EU). Go on and try it out people.

RE: Assists
Atm you don’t get assist if you’re dealing damage with a ranged weapon.
With a melee weapon, you will get assists as long as you’ve got one hit on the enemy. Your hits will be remembered by the game for a not-so-short duration, and even if you die once. For example: You hit someone, but get killed before him. Ten seconds later, a teammate of yours kill your first target. You get the assist. Either you’ve already respawned or not.
I don’t know if several players can get the assist for one kill. Thus, if you do not get the assist whereas you did hit the enemy in melee, perhaps somebody “stole” it from you.
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong though, but that’s what I’ve experienced.

But that blunt resist buff was definitely needed…I mean it was simply to easy to hit the fastest class in the game with the slowest weapon with a short on the slowest class. I think another blunt resistance buff for MaA would be good. 2 hits is still waaaay too easy. Anytime I play I see Knights with mauls easily owning MaA until they switch to smething else…poor MaA. They should totally have a maneuver with no cooldown and low stamina cost that gets them out of range of pretty much every weapon…
I sense absolutely no sarcasm in this post.
As much as I loved these two posts :D I’d like to underline that if any heavy weapon could OS archers and Maa it would be a bit ridiculous.

RE: Slower Weapons Need Longer Attack Stun
Indeed^. The purpose of parrying is to cancel your opponent’s attack and then gaining an opportunity to attack in return. If you did not parry the first strike, your either moved out of the way (nice footwork!), did duck (sweet!) or took damage (eat that!). In the first two cases, I’m glad the game gives you the opportunity to attack before your opponent’s combo is pulled off. But when you take damage, that’s it. Please try another move/duck/parry before being able to hit.

RE: Kicking is too slow
Please stop with double-tapping keys or whatever. Just put it on a different key. This way you don’t mix the 2 and you cannot complain OMFG I HIT IT TWICE WTF IT IS NOT KICKING ACCORDINGLY.

Lol it is frustrating indeed. I often find myself doing what you describe and feeling like “why do I even bother?”. It’s not game breaking at least.

Devs are aware of it and I am convinced it will be fixed in next patch (yes this might sound naive and even foolish but, eh, faith boyz and girlz).
