Game works just fine, just requires a new patch to fix a few bugs, and improve performance.

Um, Rabbit… You’re playing on a laptop with restricted bandwidths etc. You can’t expect to run a game this heavy @ 1920x1080 and good settings too well. I suggest you lower your resolution (besides, 40FPS is not that bad).

So… Hi! Another laptop player here.

I managed to fix performance issues on my end. I did a clean reinstall of Windows 7 x64, and am using Leshcat’s modded 13.1 Catalyst, and 9.xxx driver version.

I believe that some performance issues may be HDD-related. Format, clean install + using the texture compression tool, I am now running the game on 1280x720, Medium/Max/True settings @ 30-50FPS constantly, when before I was running it on 1024x800 Low/False @ 20-35FPS.

I have noticed that after some random time online, the game’s performance gradually decreases, and this makes me wonder (please note that I monitor my temps, they are not the issue here). Throttling’s not the problem.

Any ideas?

Have you tried to ping the route from your computer to a server? Could be a nearby router that’s broken.

Despite some performance issues (which I fixed the best I could on my end), the game is freaking awesome! Best FPS I have EVER played. Most fun. Most ridiculously fun. I’ve never laughed so much with any other game.

As the name aptly suggests, it is a game about medieval warfare and depicts very graphically a number of very gruesome ways of killing your fellow man. Not exactly a bible stuff (not new testament anyway). Don’t think that Jeebus will hate you less if you cut out the offensive language or sexual references introduced by other players.
I am really appaled how people can get offended by vulgar words or even something as beautiful and natural as sex but they are completely desensitised to stabbing people in their neck, smashing their bones and knuckles with huge hammers or watching the pieces of their brain fall down from a head exploded by a mace.
Seriously, if I had kids I would rather have them watch porn than play this game and getting offended by language in a game like this really seems like a very bad case of hypocrite prudery.

Also, my in-game name is OFTEN “Aspergeri Ponirunkkari” which means “Asperger Ponyfucker” in english, pretty much. What kind of mental images does this give you? No one has been offended, so far, in fact I keep seeing good jokes about it. I’d like to hear your thoughts. This is the internet, for christ’s sake. Get used to seeing profanity, and ridiculous things.
