Reduce the amount you can drag with the charge. Not make it into a stab or overhead.

Am I the only one that finds polearm charges to be worthless 99% of the time?
Only time a charge will get me is when I’m completely unaware (coming from behind while I’m crowd managing) or when I think I dodged it, but the very last inch of the weapon comes around and taps me in the foot with all the velocity of feather drifting to the ground, immediately killing me.
I have not had a charge attack “go through a block” in my memory. If you miss a charge attack parry, you either timed it incorrectly or (with sword charges) he wrapped around and tapped you in the Achille’s.
Or the players involved are experiencing latency issues, I suppose.

Charge does not need to be removed or nerfed, it just needs to be made consistent.

accuracy penalties were how it worked in AOC afaik and archers were not OP in that game
also stamina drain from pulling back the bow
