I’m with B4RK. Yeah it looks stupid but it’s fun. You gotta remember before this bug the charge was practically useless. You moved so slow through the air it was liking watching a slow plane crash. At least now it’s useful.
THE ARCHERS SHALL KNOW TRUE FEAR NOW >:D
Nah. You get more time to shoot them as they are going in a straight line longer. Or if they do it too late they go right pass you.
I agree this would be nice to see, especially as a Knight that usually uses a shield it’s quite off putting when your burning down the village/farm to have to keep changing back to your preferred setup. The worst is actually the Granary because there’s almost always archers on the roof and after I throw a torch I have to pull out the shield quickly to protect myself.
Apparent fix from someone on the Chiv steam hub forums
"Fix: Navigate to C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\chivalrymedievalwarfare\Binaries\Win32 and move the file dsound.dll somewhere else where chivalry can’t find it, forcing it to use the system version of that file instead. "
Fixes it for me, running XP 64-bit.
Also works for me, running 32 bit. Thanks for the temporary fix.
