Hope 2 of the additional classes are Ninjas and Vikings. Got to have dem smoke bombs and teleport abilities!

I can’t try the changes atm but imo the feinting changes are bad changes.
I was using feint over the 200ms period also to avoid attacking teammates at the last moment.
Too bad that now i’m gonna end up stabbing them instead. Also reverting the attack and messing your movement and your awareness of the opponent isn’t the best thing to do.
You should have simply made it so that a feint over the 200ms has a delayed drawback of the weapon, same for combos.
Also to fix the Accel and Delay abuse you should just make them deal a small portion (10%-20%) of the dmg while at the very start or at the very end of their tranjectory and go up to full dmg while in the middle of the tranjectory.
No big news here.
Just another speedhacker having some silly fun. I really don’t have issues with the obvious cases so i don’t care if this guy gets banned or not, my problem is what happens when those hacks are set to 5% instead of 300% from players that play competitively.
Feinting atm takes a much bigger part of combat than it should imo and high level duels simply come down to who feints better.
Aggressive play through feint spamming is way more viable than defending atm since it’s actually almost impossible to defend against a good feinter.
It’s important to meantion though that i’m at 100+ ping on the 95% + of the servers. So my opinion might be a bit biased.
There’s another thread that’s 26 pages long about flinching, try that. If stab through shield is a bug, they’re looking at it. Move backwards while blocking and aim good at the tip of their weapon.
Again this isn’t a thread about how flinching should work in general. It’s a pledge for more info about a broken (as i feel it) game mechanic.
And no trying to move backwards and especially looking at the tip wont save you from that stab exploit most of the times. I’d say it’s the opposite that you should do.
I notice I receive “Flinch” as Knight a lot more often than Vanguard. Knights have way more armor and should not receive a flinch at all. Throw a move out early and it still gets stopped by a knife. :o
That isn’t exactly what i meant. I do like the flinch while in windup for all classes since having no flinch in a class would probably make the game too unbalanced and less skilled (promotes spamming ;)).
I actually meant the way you can counterhit someone w/o him 99% of the time being able to react.
You know the strike that you can start when recieving a hit for a 99% free strike on the opponent.
It’s hard as it is to block a skilled feinter (Feinting Medieval Warfare? :) ) but this is really changing the good duels into hit exchanges.
So is it going to be removed or is it working as intented?
