      For instance: “Assets should roughly match the time period between 0-1500”

      And “It is important to note that Chivalry is not a medieval Sim”

    • My map does not work ingame.

      Hello, I have a problem with my map not working in the game. I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the spawn points or the map info or something.

      In the UDK editor the map works fine when I press the green arrow to play it as if ingame. Only issue is that sometimes the spawnpoints are bugged and they do not show the timer or spawn the player (but will after 8 seconds). So all seems good, and checking the map for errors shows nothing.

      But when I cook the map and open it in the actual game with console, I spawn with no HUD or weapons (and it’s every time, I’ve tried respawning 10 times). It’s as if there is no gamemode chosen.

      So it works in UDK but not in the game. My server info is set to AOCMapinfo and both PIE and Game Type are set to AOCFFA. The spawn points are AOCPlayerStarts set to EFAC_ALL.

      So I’d really appreciate some help, thank you

      EDIT: Okay guys, it turns out that all along the problem was due to the fact that I had named with map with and underscore and not a hyphen…

      Maybe load up one of the Infection Mode maps in UDK and check out the relevant kismet

      I don’t think they will, Bigzom25. They have stopped working on this game. If you have any questions you could try to ask here, or search for some UDK tutorials.

    • Server Browser not working

      Hello,

      For the past few weeks I have experienced an issue with the server browser. It will barely load any servers. When I refresh the server browser, it only shows about 20 servers, often not the ones I’m looking to join. I also cannot join my friends through Steam either, nor can I see server info when I right click a server.

      Apparently people experience this in other Steam games too, indicating it’s a Steam Issue. But for some reason Steam has no support for what is probably their fault. Instead, I was redirected to Torn Banner’s contact. shudders

      I have tried looking at my Firewall, followed a steam guide that told me to mess with some files, and I have verified integrity of game cache. Now I will try to download Remixx’ alternative server browser. This is obviously making it hard to play the game, so I’d like to hear if anyone have had experience with this issue?

      Looks pretty great. I like the characteristic enviroment and I think the big tower in the middle creates a unique looking castle. This overall makes for a visually interesting map (which is important).

      Maybe the last objective should be reconsidered though? Would feel a bit unreasonable to make such a big deal out of stealing some gold coins. Although of course it could be excused as taking advantage, considering you’ve already weakened the city’s defenses I guess, I dunno.
