Check stats fps, and I believe this shows your real ping.

RE: Feinting makes this game completely into a mindgame
I keep seeing people say feinting is guesswork; spend more time with the game, or hell, join a dueling servers. I very rarely misjudge a feint, and your ability to block an attack is tremendous - a lot of times you can block up until the other weapon is impacting your temple.
Watch the animations, watch the weapon leave windup, and you’ll be a pro at dueling.

RE: Rogue - 50% more damage from behind
I play primarily Knight, and while I might speak for the minority, I think a well played archer is a deadly opponent. Just today I was repeatedly bested by an Archer who had deft footwork, knew when to block, and knew when to attack. He would frequently interrupt my attacks, and then go on the defensive, ultimately killing me with well timed interrupts.
I have two people in my clan that are often top ranked in the server, regardless of which mode, because they switch from ranged to melee - something a lot of archers in pubs don’t do.
I am in 100% agreement with SlyGoat; it seems to me that people need to get better at playing the class.

RE: Chivalry: Medieval Warfare E-Sport League Open!
Team ßCE will be there… to rock.

RE: 1v1 Duel Competition Ladder @ TWL
As do I. TWL has been vital to a lot of gaming communities, and the folks over there are just great people. I think there are talks of a 1v1 dueling ladder, as well as LTS and Team Objective mode leagues. Check it out people!

RE: Chivalry's First Duel Tournament (sign up)
As it turns out I most likely will not be able to participate - please remove me from the list. Good luck to all entrants!

RE: If you were offered a refund would you take it?
No. I think this can has far exceeded my expectations. I expected an indie game based on a half life 2 mod.
What I got was a AAA multiplayer experience for half the cost of a AAA title in 2008 (cause we all know big publishers charge $59.99 now).
Battlefield had these issues (pick a title), Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Skyrim, the list goes on. Give me an example of a multiplayer game that didn’t require fastidious patching for the first couple of days/weeks.
The biggest issues have been resolved via an update, and the biggest technical glitch was with steams networks, and you feel like the game wasn’t ready to be released?
I honestly don’t know where your expectations were with this game; but as someone who plays a lot of damn video games, this is as close to without a hitch as it comes.
You’re one of those people who complains that they can’t talk on the cell phone on an Airplane. You may have not had a perfect experience, but nothing is perfect. Once you realize that, you will be a much happier person.

RE: High ping on a server with a large number of players
x2cp - you missed my point. I never said your 3.4ghz quad-core was lowly, nor did I imply that it was, only that you’re running the game outside of its designed limitations. The maps that were included at launch have suggested sizes, and this is one of the reasons; shit happens when you introduce variables that the game was not designed to support.
I’ve been running four servers in addition to the normal load on my colocated box, two 14 slot dueling servers, a 24 man team objective, and a private clan server, and haven’t had any issues.
I can only speculate since I’m not part of the team, but it makes sense that the server might have issues rendering 30fps for each of the 64 players regardless of which way you look at it. It’s a lot of data to crunch.
tl;dr you’re trying to do something no one said would be possible in the first place, YMMV.
