    • Vote Kick

      Tab kicking votes yourself.

      And countdown doesn’t go down to 0. When people abuse it constantly people get fed up and just agree to make it stop. Was 1 second to go until game switched and 3 seconds until vote kick passed. Guess who got kicked out of the game? Yeah I’m qqqqqqq atm.

      Stats on the kick?
      1% Team Damage
      7 Seconds Idle

      Yeah. I experienced that glitch where you lose it in the match you’re currently in and it got me thinking, I’d really be glad if this was permanent. I’d much enjoy going at all this again.

    • RE: The rank 30 mark

      I’m level 31 and I enjoy charging into those groups rofl. Don’t win much, but definitively take a bit of them out before I’m slain. Honestly, I’ve never really had people “look up” to me. I do coincidentally tutor people because I’m an asshole, I just sit there and block and have them try and beat my defense occasionally, it’s good practice and unspecified training commission.

    • Anyway to re-lock weapons?

      I enjoy this game, but I kinda want a goal other than winning again. Is there anyway to get your weapons re-locked (not rank too) and to have to unlock them all again?

    • Dodging

      You currently can’t dodge as a Man at Arms when you have throwing knifes out. Nor can you kick. You can’t kick either as an archer, which in retrospect, a bow isn’t going to block you from kicking. The purpose of this thread was for the previously mentioned to be acknowledged a little bit more than it is.

    • The Server Browser - It's Still Crap

      This has probably already been mentioned somewhere, I’d be shocked if it hasn’t. The server browser is a shrouded mess of things. You can sort them somewhat, but not enough. Filters aren’t exactly the greatest selection.

      You should be able to select official servers out of the nonofficial. Not to mention, the history of your recent servers aren’t even in order. Things happen, you get DC’d off the internet, whatever, you want to play on that server because the people are pretty sweet there. But no, the history tab fails to give you the ability to do so without much guessing and checking. Player amount is usually always nonexistent on accuracy.

      When the update happened, and we all read, new server browser. I’m sure I speak for all when I say, our hearts fluttered a bit, hoping for a neat and orderly browser. Boy, oh boy, were we wrong. This is just a different format of the original! Nothing has changed besides the general design and basic functions of it. That needs to be seriously worked on, you were better off leaving it and working on it longer than doing a quicky on it.

    • RE: Uh. Fist Expansion

      @ReMixx:

      I wouldn’t mind bracers that could block/parry at least 1 handed weapons (I’m scared to say Batman style, but like Batman does in Batman Begins I think it was where he blocked the guy’s sword with his bracers).

      I found so much irony in that statement as my name in-game is Batman. But yeah, there definitively would have to be some logic into them. I can’t say I’m 100% for fist weapons, but I do love the idea of having something to block, or help block/slow down (make it weaker) to help protect fist fighters. Now that I’ve unlocked everything, that’s all I do, is go around punching people.

      @SlyGoat:

      Vanguard needs fist primaries. One might expect to see them on MaA, but since MaA can’t do a falcon punch it would be a waste. Also, VG is the shieldless all-in charger class so it makes sense for him to have the berserker weapon.

      Brass knuckles - as fast as unarmed fists but do heavy concussive damage, beastly at crushing pretty much anyone’s face. However, they also share the downside of not being able to block weapons.

      Punch daggers - slightly slower than fists, used mainly for jabbing to do moderate piercing damage. They can block weapons but the stamina drain is immense for doing so. Most powerful charge attack, goring anyone’s brain in one hit if you get them in the face.

      Katars - slowest but longest reach and best for blocking, being slightly better than a dagger in stamina loss. Slashing damage hooks and uppercuts and a long reaching jab that does piercing damage.

      I’d rather not limit it down. I understand brass knuckles on a man at arms would be crazy because of his dodge. Maybe add different things to the different classes. There’s plenty of classes to spread these things out at.

    • Uh. Fist Expansion

      Well. Yeah, fist are cool and all, but it’d be cool to have more to them. Like weapon unlocks for them. So you can go bare knuckle, or go brass knuckle. >.>

      Something else which would be cool is have a wrist guard. Of course, it can’t be permanent. Make it like the wooden crossbow shield that breaks overtime. Just that you don’t have to deploy it to make it work. This would overtake a shield spot of course, so you don’t go around with a buckler and wrist guards all day long. But it would help fight off those people who love seeking fist fighters as an easy target.

    • RE: Harassment In-Game

      @loin:

      You can report this on steam if you know the players name and find him/her. Just an idea.
      hope this helps.

      They aren’t always steam users.

      @ransack:

      There should be a way to disable the chat if you dont want to see it on the screen. For votekicks, we all need to help out - if you havent seen the person doing anything wrong, dont vote yes.

      Also, is there anyway to setup a one-key “sorry” macro? Like map it to f12 so i can quickly apologize for a tk?

      There should be, yes.
      No, there is not. Doesn’t take long for a sorry to be typed though. If you kill a disgruntled person, they instantly have a personal vendetta against you. It’s honestly based on the person of interest. I played in match today and was killed by my own team countless times. I killed many of my team members too, we were just all experimenting with those weapons we have no idea how to use. We just laughed it off and said we were sorry and we just had fun.

      @Iron-Sentinel:

      What really needs to happen is the ability to report people. This could be in chat logs, anything like that really.

      I extremely agree with this Idea, i cannot tell you how many times i have seen players be abused in the old game AOC by regular players and players with high status (server admins). In this game i only play on official servers because that way i do not have to deal with abusive server admins.

      Yeah reporting sounds like a really good idea, it could work kind f like how it does in Runes cape.
      Yeah, it’s utterly repulsing seeing the amount of people acting they way they do.

      I like the RuneScape reporting system. Don’t see it fitting into this game though with the command prompt.

    • Harassment In-Game

      I was just repeatedly harassed in-game by a user called Cyanide. I know this is the internet, and flaming and such should be expected, but he has taken things too far in-game to the point where I could actually not even ignore him because he was attacking me personally in-game through the use of his friends. Then when I just tried to vote kick them out of the game, they accused me of doing such things and the majority rules in this case. I ended up being kicked out of the game while being called numerous names. Which should not happen under any case scenario. As a person, you shouldn’t be bullied to where you aren’t able to enjoy what you want to do. This game can be frustrating, because, well, it’s competitive. Competitive things are one of the most frustrating things in my book. But that does not give anyone the right to just think they can go around and own the world because they aren’t doing so hot in one thing.

      Generally I can handle anything I get called, because, you know, you shouldn’t take these things seriously on the internet, but then he had to go and ruin my game-play and this player really should not doing such actions lightly or without consequence.

      I would love actions to be taken against this player (Cyanide (Mud was his friend’s name)), but it doesn’t have to happen. What really needs to happen is the ability to report people. This could be in chat logs, anything like that really. But it needs to be done. If there is somebody abusing the vote kick feature like what just happened to me, the privilege to use it should be revoked from that player. I don’t know how you guys are on staffing for anything like this, but the success of this game is doing pretty well, I’m sure you can manage hiring.

      tl;dr:
      Features to add:
      Report a player
      Chat logs
      The right of voting revoked if abused. (Because trust me, it’s getting abused)

    • Abuse of the Kick option

      It’s already happened to me. There’s gotta be a way around this?

      This dude just started kicking me (f), so I kick him back out of retaliation as he had no reason to kick me. Then him and his buddy started fucking me over and eventually they voted for me to be kicked. Guess who won? They also got off on calling me a scrub which infuriated me even further.

    • RE: A map with siege towers?

      I would love to see one of these. Maybe a full scale castle assault. I mean, I know an assault is in the game. But it’s not really as detailed IMO. You destroy the village and blow up the gate. Then you’re in. More to it, please. (y)

      After watching this game be played on a livestream for a good hour or two, I think I am (partially; I still like the idea, but I am not blind in the fact that this won’t happen) against this idea.

      @Viper:

      It simply will never be implemented! The dev-team will never add any feature that will make one player better than another, they want the game to be completely skill based. If you manage to get enough kills to get one of your perks, you wouldn’t need it anyway because you have skill. If you play the game more you’ll notice your sword skills will get better. :)

      Not your character’s. Your mouse clicking skills will get better.

      completely against !
      the other day i did a 10/0 score (kill/death) against two guys. so you can really stay alive for a long time !
      what would the score if i had your “perk”?

      You’d be one bad ass motherfucker. BUT, it would of been deserved. Do you really expect somebody to go into a swords battle and not get better with a sword?

    • RE: Experience in Battle

      @KorbentMarksman:

      I still really don’t like the idea. Everyone should have a chance based on how good they are at the game, not how long they’ve stayed in one life. This could really unbalance the game and put off new players when they try to fight overpowered veterans.

      Do you really expect someone who isn’t playing against bots to be alive more than 2 battles? Like I said before, I’m not saying make the guy who kills other turn into the hulk. I’m pretty adamant on the idea, I may be blinded by my own lush for having this (good idea to me) implemented.

    • RE: Experience in Battle

      @TheCheekyTree:

      this is the type of game that you can get naturally better at anyway, since combat rewards smart and skillful play. If someone was getting unfair perks on top of naturally improving at the game, then it will snowball and you will end up with ridiculously skilled players who have an extra advantage on top of that to boot… which is never too pleasant!

      Yes, you can actually achieve a personal skill level in a game, but you can only get as good as your character allows it to be. You don’t keep the advantages when you die. If you last an entire round then you keep your perks. Once you die though, you start completely over. Nobody lives forever as long as they play with people. (Meaning disable this ability when versing a bot.) Seems fool proof to me.

      @SlyGoat:

      Too arcadey for me. Also the whole idea of bonuses for killstreaks just doesn’t sit right - if your game is skill based, you don’t need to give advantages to the guy who’s already better.

      It’s not skill based truly. All you do is aim and swing, or aim and release. No skill to it as long as you can aim. But like I said, when you die, you lose it. An average person isn’t even going to last one match alive. I’m not saying every kill or every accurate bow shot give the person a major performance tweak, but a very small, (noticeable"ish") boost and your capabilities.

      If this game is striving for a realistic-like medieval warfare simulation then you’re going to need to be able get your character better. If the said person switches classes, start them over, that’s just like quitting a specific skill set and changing for another.
