Seems to me that feints can’t really be punished, not without guessing that they are coming, but they are more readable than pre-patch.
Reacting to a feint just means you’ve seen the feint and you don’t parry- you won’t gain an attack advantage, you just don’t become a free hit.
It’s still very low risk/high reward for the attacker.
Feint punishment was good as it was, stay calm and let them waste their stamina then punish them once its depleted. Its funny how people think that feinting was OP, if they were stupid enough to stand within the hit range of opponents weapon and cowardly enough to block at every single movement it is their own fault and it is them who should be punished for panic blocking and not the stamina wasting feinters.
While they are running and spamming their silly feints and not focusing on perfect distance you could have just stabbed them with 1hander and then punish them for stamina waste…
As far as my verdict goes regarding the patch, I think that is a steamy pile of manure, TB has managed to show that instead of establishing and caring for a fanbase they prefer short term investment to drag out a couple of extra $$$… In fact I think that this update is so dreadful that it will make me think twice about buying any other TB releases.
