I agree. It is way too short, and could definitely hold more objectives once the cart blows up the gate. Somehow I get the feeling that this is the first TO map they made, almost like a test map to see how their ideas would work for the gametype in whole. Don’t get me wrong, the aesthetics of the map are awesome, and I love the smoldered- schorched ash- grey filter that gives the scenery a beautiful and somewhat pale but intriguing apeal.
It’s just over too soon.

I don’t know how many of you players out there that got spotify, but for those that do I have made a playlist heavily themed on this game , and songs that could fit all sorts of moods in a battle of a melee nature. Gives me a great boost when i play atleast ;)

Actually a really cool idea that’s not at all out of line, like some other suggestions or implements can be sometimes when you read around in this section. It would be very nice to try out :)

Exactly what my name is here. You can find me in northern european servers and servers located in scandinavia. Mostly dueling now to augment my skill, and when I take a break from that then it’s ordinary ffa and TO . Don’t have any clan right now but play public together With two guys from templar now and then.

I think the reason why you have to use flail with shield is because the weapon would be too unwieldy or weak to block with itself since the surface to block with is too small (or getting entangled in the opponent’s weapon with the chain) . Without the ball and chain its just a baton. Flails where seldomly if ever, used without a shield historically speaking.
Yeah I know that you might think it’s strange since an archer can block a sledgehammer with a knife, but if they couldn’t fend for themselves in melee then no one would even bother with the class.

I hope there will still be servers that won’t restrict archer class as the best counter for massive waves of two handed knights and vanguards are… archers. Without them it’s figthing fire with fire, turning it into a game of two classes which isn’t very good in my opinion as everybody will use weapon with the longest reach and damage because there will be no need to guard yourself against arrows/belts.
Im with you here. I like archers being in the game. It adds to the feel of the extreme danger you could face on medieval battlefields as a knight, when all of a sudden that big and shiny armor wasen’t that great anymore. In the game they keep me on my toes, and force me to play smarter or I will just get shot to death (playing as a vanguard). I like the balance they bring and I think I am one of the few who actually want’s to leave them just as they are. I dont think they are that hard to kill either when they get desperate in melee and bring out that little dagger or sword. You know they will always zerk, and that makes them extremely predictable face to face.
