MW keeps crashing for me on every single match I’ve tried playing recently, so I’ve been purely sticking with DW lately (Banzai!), but otherwise I jump back and forth. MW has more immersion (no pirates vs spartans shenanigans) and TO, but DW has samurai and spartans which are awesome.

So according to weapon stats, the dory has an 100% reach, making it one of the weapons with the longest reach in the game. I’ve tested it in training, however, and it definitely has less reach than the Samurai Yari, even using alternative attacks. Am I just not doing something that I’m supposed to do to use its full reach? Or is the range stat just referring to the fact that it can be thrown? If so, it’s very misleading, other spears have better actual reach during melee, and other throwable weapons like shuriken are actually shown with very low reach.
