OH and the fact that if you have a throwing item you are pretty much FUCKED if someone blind sides you. That kind of is lame too. When you have throwing axes and you have to switch to a weapon it takes AGES to do it, and by the time you do you are already dead. Should be an option to parry with a throwing weapon and take 50% of the damage that was intended. I DEFINITELY would not mind that so I can actually get a kick off and get a weapon and get things going. EXCEPT for firepots cause you know…… fuck those guys right haha jk.

I still personally believe that the game is pretty smoothed out. What I REALLY hate is when people fucking abuse the games mechanics. For example, Swinging the last tier sword for the Vanguard and looking away from your target to slow the attack even further, OR even better is when people do an overhead and INSTANTLY look down to the point where it becomes UNBLOCKABLE! But I mean that is impossible to fix to be fair. You would have to end up LOCKING the crosshair on someone and make them forcibly not be able to look away.

I swear all I hear is babies crying about EVERY LITTLE THING about the game. You want to counter a MAA? SWITCH TO YOUR GOD DAMN SECONDARY! If you stick with your primary fighting a MAA then you DESERVE to be humiliated. People that play this game just CAN NOT analyze a fight. They KNOW that they will get bested with their slow 2h weapons but they go in anyway. To the people that do this. GTFO or learn to…. We are babies for wanting a balanced game and thus a quality product for our money?
Also everyone bringing examples are stupid because examples are conditional and dont mean shit in terms of practically anything. The more exaggerated the examples are the more pointless.
Making the knight strike faster lessens the difference between the knight and the classes that strike faster than him, thus decreasing variety and tactical neccessity.I am just gonna say this. You guys COMPLAIN so much about the smallest things because you want the class that YOU play often to be super ultra powerful. LEARN YOUR BARRIERS! That’s what it ALL boils down to in my opinion. You want to feel as if your character is a god. Name 10 things that are IMBALANCED in the game. And I will see if any are even valid.

L2P and LEARN from your mistakes. DONT just run in and expect to get a lot of kills like in CoD. Play smart, play aggressive. Understand the LIMITS and the barriers your class has and just have fun with it.
thats basically what i said in my previous post. complaining people play the CoD style. they just don’t understand the classes, their abilities and their weaknesses.
they don’t adjust themselves and then ask the developers to “code them some skill”…

IMHO.
A lot of the guys that are saying the weapons are OP and such are just complaining over nothing.
I play MAA with the Norse Sword. And I can best ANYONE with that class set up BECAUSE IT MATCHES HOW I PLAY. What people hate seeing is themselves getting completely roflstomped by some MAA or a Archer with a FASTER weapon than them when they have a big bulky 2h. There are SECONDARIES for a reason. If you go up against someone that has FAST attack speeds you better switch to your secondary to match his speed unless you are confident that you can best him with your primary.To make people stop whining. I say we let the heavier armor wearers (vanguards and knights) have their secondaries as the MAA’s primaries AND keep the original secondary set up for the heavies. That way they wont complain about that.
My next gripe is about bowmen. They SHOULDN’T move as fast as a MAA because you need to have balance. BUT what they should be able to do is have better secondaries AND faster switch speeds. When I close in on an archer I feel its almost unfair how slow they are but I also realize its their fault for NOT switching fast enough. So I say just speed it up about .5 seconds so people can atleast have a fighting chance (realism sometimes isnt the most fun :P, not saying that make everything fake-like but I guess let archers be sort of viable).
The Mace and the Axe’s play VERY similar (on the MAA 1h set up). for the maces I think the most damaging mace should be the morning star and make it so it hurts heavies more than any other 1h weapon (it has those menacing spikes and it SHOULD be feared by EVERYONE but for the sake of fun. make heavies fear it the most.) and the final mace should inflict more damage on lighter targets. Every weapon should strike fear in a certain armored type imo.
BUT even WITHOUT anything being changed. I feel the game is pretty damn good the way it is. Everyone can kill ANYONE if they have the right skill to do it. But I still feel that the some weapons should scare certain armored targets more than others. But would be EXTREMELY hard to balance and not only that. it would make it unfair for certain people.
The moral of my post to anyone that read this far is…… Your character is NOT a god. And this is a GAME not real life. If this was to be a sim of how it was back then everyone would be dying upon the first strike of ANY WEAPON. Just learn how to dodge and use movements to your advantage. this isnt a game of look at your enemy and just swing and block every hit. Its a game of GETTING into your enemies head by faking him out, slightly stepping to the right and attacking when they miss, or just ONSLAUGHT them. The hit detection in this game is REMARKABLE to the point that they can NARROWLY miss you. Just skill up you noobs :)
