Any rules on joining the contest as a group? I wouldn’t mind banding up with some people for this contest.

I’ve started to see more and more people having vote-kick wars and this does nothing but interrupt everyone else on the server who just wants to play the game. I just came from a game where a newbie and a level 40+ were both starting to vote-kick each other with no success. This enraged many people who also attempted to kick both of them. In the end, everyone gets distracted by the constant messages asking them to vote yes or vote no. I wanted to know what you guys think on having a cool-down period on vote-kick spamming. It’s just ridiculous seeing people vote-kick each other for the entirety of the game and really spoils mine and the whole servers game.:grumpy:

I agree with the points made. All those things need to be worked on and i also agree that if you are to remove panic parry you should at least replace it with something else.
The rank unlocks are putting off most people and makes them feel like they are not progressing anywhere so they stop playing. I’ve seen countless people complain about it and it sucks. I know Ranks don’t really mean anything (a part from being intimidating) but it’s essential for some people to have a “goal” to reach.
And finally, i believe that TB isn’t supporting custom content near as much as they should do. I’ve seen some great maps but hardly anyone is playing on them. I’m not sure whether this could be down to lack of promotion on custom content (how many newbies even know there is custom content?) or just the simple fact that they are too lazy to wait for the map to download. Could be something worth looking in to.
Regardless, it’s nice to hear from TB again.

Any idea on the units? I could make a box matching the height of that skeleton but it wont matter because as soon as i put it in UDK. It’s tiny.

Unfortunately, you cant export items that are in cooked packages, so i couldn’t export the scaleref king for use in 3dsmax. I’m looking to make a map with self made assets and i would appreciate it if the devs had a FBX of a chivalry character for scale references so i can use it to model items at the appropriate size. I know i can scale items in UDK but i’d prefer to make the proportions correct beforehand. Thanks!
Can't load character in game
I’ve been trying to work out how the chivalry sdk works (have some experience with udk itself) but for some reason my player does not load on to the map. I am able to launch the sdkcontent launcher and open my map but as soon as i select Agatha or Mason the game is just in spectator mode. I do have the “Game is starting in 7…6…5…” message but that will keep on looping.
I have set the game modes in the world properties as well as adding the AOCPlayerstartup and choose agatha and mason for both of them but still nothing. Any help would be appretiated!
EDIT: Fixed! Had to delve deep into the forum history, found out that the MyMapInfo in World properties was set to none so i set it to AOC.
I don’t think i saw anything about this in the chivalry sdk documentation, might want to add it?
