      Whose brilliant idea was it to make it so archers can cover the ballista from where they spawn?

      Or what about when the ballista’s bug out completely where they won’t turn at all and you can only swivel your head around while on the ballista?

      Or what about when the bolt from the ballista passes in between the wafer thin gaps in the palisade wall, rendering the shot as invalid?

      Sure, the map is aesthetically pleasing, but game play and balance wise, it’s a nightmare.

      I’m pretty sure it’s not the patch. Anyway, yes. At close range on most swords, you can usually pull off a parry on even an lmb block with only a short turn - almost like your clashing blades at the hilt. That doesn’t really work with the falchion. I suspect the hittrace is more forward at the center/end, so when you look at the hilt, that part doesn’t actually connect before the center/end and you get hit. And I have noticed that it’s one of those weapons (like the dane axe) with a seemingly tiny bit of extra phantom reach on the end.

      it’s not really imbalanced, but it’s one of those weapons you’ll spend awhile learning because it’s not super intuitive, and it does have some impressively difficult blocks at facehug range.

      Isn’t that the definition of imbalance? Having to do something so extraordinary to block something that really shouldn’t be any different from any of the other sword classes?

      In any case I’ve learned how to live with them, but it still makes me upset that the occasional swing will get through even though I’m literally looking at the blade tip in the center of my screen.
