IMO this is exactly what makes the game so fun, and what gives you a wide range of skillsets. They tried adding a delay after feinting in the Patch 1 Beta, and it was horrible. Instead, you have to learn to expect what the other player will do and counter it. Everything is counterable.

Its actually quite easy to explain. This game is a contest of skills. My skill against the skill of my enemy. Archers dont fit into the equasion. They measure their skill against a hitbox. I cant do nothing about it, and it feels totally lame to get killed by an arrow.
Especially when those archers camp at their spawn or in unreachable spots. Its not only that I, as attacker, have to run four or five times the distance of defenders to get to the fighting. No. Some “lame” donogood even gets to make free shots at me without being in any danger whatsoever.
Don’t get me wrong. I love this game and archers are a part of it. But everytime an arrow kills me, I sigh. In melee, its at least my stupidity or lack of awareness that killed me. But archers? -.-
And then there’s those archers in my own team, who make me lose a sure 1on1 because they flinch me with an arrow to my back. Just genius.
This game would be just as good without them.
this post can be summed up as QQ by a melee player that cant go positive kdr when slotting a bow. if you could actually hit someone with an arrow instead of constant misses you would understand the level of skill required as compared to mindless melee combos with feints and blocks thrown in. it takes alot to be an archer, this is why you see so many 3-12 5-20 2-16 archers out there when manytimes you will see a rank 5 vanguard/knight player with a 30-10 score. obviously this post is completely my opinion, but from what ive seen players hate having their virtual life at stake based on the skill of a bow user. archers seem to be the focus of the most abuse and trolling out of any of the classes whether its from your team or the other. people will tk/wound you just for picking a “kit”, and players on the other team will flame you simply for putting an arrow in their eye. get over it, its only a game and some of us enjoy putting that arrow in your eye.
This post can be summed up as someone who didn’t read the post he quoted. Just because it’s hard to be an archer, doesn’t make it not feel bad when you are killed by one, and can’t do anything about it.
I’d also add that as the number of players increases, this becomes more of a problem. You are much more likely to be shot while dueling another player, and that’s the most annoying thing about archers. Because they don’t require proximity to work, they can interrupt you anywhere on the map, from the safety of their spawn.

High risk needs to be High reward to be balanced. MAA is high risk, little/no reward
Yes, this is the important bit. If I try hard I can usually beat people 1 on 1 with the MAA, but they are incredibly shitty when you are dealing with more than one foe. They need either a slightly higher damage, or slightly more health, so they don’t get one-shotted so often.

Crossbows are significantly worse than the war bow.
This is too true, I haven’t used any crossbow in ages because the Warbow is much better. And the speed of the crossbow reload should be taken with a grain of salt, as you can’t see anything and are completely open to attack while reloading.
RE: REMOVE VOTING FOR PLAYER KICK
If you’re getting voted off for interrupting 1-1 fights, that might hint that some of your actions aren’t appreciated by other players. Also, I don’t think getting votekicked will ban you for more than 5 minutes.
