Blood. So beautiful…
I can……Cough my bloody pieces of phlegm into an envelope and…send it to you ;)
Sorry Op, we still love u.
wuv u 2 woderwo =)@Nivve:
My friends arrived late to the party and have some more trouble getting good at the game due to the lack of newbies. If you have friends playing this game you can get a private server to have some practice with some playstyles without being interrupt by all those veterans preventing you from practising.
I made a server where we can practice with the 6 of us and where I sometimes show them very clearly how I manage to get my hits in. It helped them a lot, not only because I explain some things but mainly because they can practice a bit of against unskilled opponents and can try some things out on the opponent.
This kinda seems to be the case everywhere i see any new players like i see a level 1 whos like 1-18 in a ffa and i just feel bad for him because hes fighting 10-40 leveled players. I have some really skilled friends who think i am good and in duels i get compliments consistently but i usually have an average winrate in duels or just a slightly above average kd in ffa. So i guess i would be more stuck at my skill level then i am bad.
Answer is that it’s bad forum etiquette.
Topic titles should be clear and defined so people know what the content is and whether it may interest them through browsing, not have to check every single thread to see. (Some forums have a lil mouseover preview as well, which I like). Single word titles are also frowned upon because it doesn’t give enough information of what it’s about, single words are rarely a proper title.
It may be a kind of “marketing ploy” to you, but it can be frustration and wasted time to others. Remember there’s a LOT more topics on this forum than just yours hehe.
But yes, clear and unambigious topic titles are standard for a good forum. So yes, that’s why.
Good answer and one i cannot argue with.
Yep, I suck too! It’s alright, we can suck together.
Maybe we should duel and become good together? =)
I have no idea about your playstyle tbh! Just trying to make the topic non-ambigious hehe.
The thought occurred to me earlier in which i would like to procure an answer. For say let I the sender want to entice my would subjects or audiences. Perhaps one of the methods i use to provoke a subjects attention would be the ambiguity that i used. Then i would not be using ambiguity out of ignorance but rather out of social skill what then “Bob”?
I suckity suck at the archer. But I show a overall skill with other classes.
PRACTICE with archer thats all i can suggest, it really gets easier
This is where the high skill cap comes into play. Stabbing to the right, around blocks is an easy way to take advantage of beginner players. Once you learn to block this, you will start your journey to being a veteran of Chivalry.
Dang i guess i do suck, thanks for the advice though man
Calm yoself, that was me. Wasn’t that the point of what you were saying in your original post? “Does anyone else suck as much as me, I can’t be the only one”. Though I apologise I forgot to leave a note saying it was edited. Still hoping they switch on the auto-notification by default at some point.
The reasoning was that a thread title of the single word “Suck”, is pretty ambigious, what sucks, the game, you, something else? Etc, for people browsing the forum, it isn’t very clear of what the topic is about. I would not have changed it to that, had you not flat-out said it yourself. I’m only going on your own wording there.
It seriously just made me chuckle a mod actually took the time to do it lol but thank you it is more accurate.
gotta agree with OP, Im getting decimated in almost every duel or ffa or any mode. Its not like im not trying….it doesnt seem to be a game where you block then hit and maneuver round, it seems to be a game where you do that and you’re oponenet does some weird glitchy shit and boom, you’re dead.
Idk its like other people’s stabs always hit me but i cant hit them with mine.
To the mod who changed my topic from “Suck” to “I Suck” screw you man.
I dont necessarily feint often but when i do and that 2nd swing hits you feel like a man. I think that honestly feints are overall fine and i think without them skilled player matches would last…forever. I do not know what changes should be made but i feel like feints are too easy to execute so maybe cost more stam? Or reduced damage on the actual hit?
I am currently like Rank 23 or 24, used to be decent Vanguard and goes into Duel.
And still get 0 win out of 10 duel.
The more I plays, the more I get worst for some reason.
I feel you man i main MAA and dont get me wrong im not like awful and SOME people call me good and shit but i feel like for a level 30 im actually just balls.
Im glad im not the only baddie at dueling. ;)
Get some practice by loading up a Bot Match via Create Game in the main menu, like TDM…… you can spend more time against them learning the weapons and moves without having to worry about wasting other player’s time or losing objectives, etc… just focus on whomever comes at you can get used to everything as much as possible… get familiar with the maps and where you’re good or bad… then go online and give it another go.
Its not like i do awful i just do as good as i should i mean i know how the game works quite well its just im not a wizard at it…yet
Footwork is probably one of the most important parts of being a somewhat decent player, IMO.
What do you mean footwork?
Itd be really neat if someone could add me in game and show me how to be cool
