I just find the kill based unlocks are a detriment to teamplay as it rewards people for hanging back and waiting to kill steal. I would recommend it be done by damage inflicted with the weapon so that archers softening up the enemy and setting up enemies for your allies to kill are rewarded as well.
It’s never to late to change things. I love this idea.
[A] Toggle Sprint
If you have “toggle sprint” active on an archer when you try to string and arrow, even while standing still, it considers you as in sprint mode and will not allow you to string said arrow. I like the toggle sprint mode but this makes it unusable for me. When you are standing still you should not be considered sprinting, and should be able to draw an arrow and string it. I could not figure out for the life of me why when I was standing there I couldn’t string and arrow. It finally dawned on me when I turned off toggle sprinting what it was.
While sprinting if you press the mouse button it should interrupt your sprint to string and arrow, allowing more active use for the sprint function on an archer.
Parry + Zoom
Can we make these the same button? When you have a bow you cannot parry anyway and the right mouse button is the default for focusing in most shooters anyway.

This game is not a perfect balance. I have 30 hours put into it and it’s very clear what weapons need to be tweaked. When you see people consistently top the charts look at what they’re using. I can almost guaranteeing you it’s a weapon from a very select pool. You want to see the true balance of class vs. class, weapon vs. weapon? Go to a death match server, and look at how many of each class are present, whose on top, and whose on bottom.
However I do believe the game as is, is balanced enough to play and even have a competitive bracket. That doesn’t mean certain things don’t need tweaking. You can’t compare a game as simple as this, to something like WoW which has 35 hot keys, stuns, spells, pets, buffs, debuffs, etc. Blizzard is constantly at war with their community because they fail to produce the proper balance (which will never be achieved with their system). Torn Banner however has produced a game that is as simple as swords, arrows, and shields. Balance is achievable.
I’m not the raging type, but I do like balance. My suggestions are pretty in tune with most of the community:
- Archers given some love (weaker shots, faster arrows, same dmg head-shot).
- Blunt weapons toned down (longer recovery from a swing).
- Polearms to be toned down (longer recovery parried attacks, and swings).
Sidenote: Learn 2 Play should never be an argument with balance. Skill is a factor no developer can plan for there for the tools they provide players must be balanced without skill as apart of the equation.

Additionally, I think that sprint should not be interrupted by dodging (so that you continue to sprint after a dodge).

I stopped using it after a while, but ever since I bound the dodge key to alt it’s been a breeze. After a long session of maa I can barely stand playing other classes as I feel insanely vulnerable without my dash ability.
I bound it to my thumb button but I still find it a hassle to use due to the dodge priority for hotkey users like us. Which is why I did the original post.

RE: Votekick Removal/Change: The Real Reason
Vote kick is a wonderful system actually. They can’t get rid of it, as there are to many real reasons to kick people. For instance we had a guy with 600+ ping and he was using it to his advantage. Teleporting all over the place getting mad kills. I initiated a vote kick and he was gone, the game was 100% better because of it. I have also gotten a few real TKers kicked as well. Troll kicks will happen, but we got to deal with it.
I honestly think we should have more stats on the leader board such as team kills, this would solve the problem.

Though the OP has me a little confused. Why do you have “s” for right dash?
Was a typo, fixed it. Honestly dodging should be fluid and give the MAA an upper hand to those heavier classes but yet I find the dodges are hardly ever used as they are bulky and most of them just get you killed rather then saving your life. I feel like I have no control over the dodging mechanic and honestly I don’t even use it because of this.
