haven’t played a medieval combat game this satisfying. really gives you the feel of merciless, rough and brutal combat. worth every penny

    • RE: Things this game needs to make it even funner!

the originals were pretty good. i actually wouldn’t mind if they just slapped it in there

    • RE: List of bits that need changing/ tweaking

i don’t think sprinting should drain stamina (as realistic it may be). it just seems needlessly making things real life like. free sprint just encourages action and confrontation IMO. the current stamina drain is fine, i agree that it dosen’t really become a major factor in a 1v1, but often you engage more than you can handle, and that stamina is really going to be needed.

    • RE: VIP Game Type

i have had ideas of escorting a royalty (who can’t engage in combat). maybe AI controlled or player. also a king of the hill with kings on both teams. the king would have to be on the so-called hill and if both kings are on, then the team with the largest amount of warriors would be dominating which will result in a lot of killing and massacre. i also think the gamemode strikes a nice balance between defence(defending the king) and offence. another idea i have is to have some VIP’s on each side who isn’t mobile(like the map were the royal families are hiding in closed caves). and the team who killed all of the opponents VIP’s would of course be the winner

    • Bow tension

My idea for the archer is bow tension. instead of having archers keeping their bows at a constant tension and accuracy, you could put more depth to the system by giving the bow a tension system. an example would be mount and blade. the string needs to be pulled back and tightened, and by that the crosshair changes for increased accuracy. it would give more depth to the class and make it more realistic. if the arrow is released before optimal tension/accuracy, it could do less damage and obviously be less accurate. we have probably all experienced an archer with a cocked bow, just waiting for the moment we lower our shields as we march towards them.

i’m sure it could be well balanced, and on the other hand there is also a crossbow available for people who dosen’t dig the system.

    • RE: Recolouring Peasants / Royal Family

i agree, putting some more detail in would be nice. like having them wear their fancy clothes, but unwashed because of their current state of affairs. i haven’t been in the beta but i believe that the male models are all alike. could be nice to see some variety there as well.

    • RE: Future Factions (Tenosians & Celdarians)

      that escalated quickly…
Ok lore ideas. some motives for the celdarians to attack agathians/masons could be that they have returned to reclaim what was once their land. say many years ago (long before king Argon) they rejected to submit to agthian rule and were annihilated, but the remaining people came back for vengeance or just to get back to their homeland after living under lousy conditions out in the wild. they could probably join an alliance with the tenosians because they share enemy. another idea could be that the celdarians were just barbaric invaders travelling through the sea (viking mash up :D).
