      ^ Your video basically states that there should be strong things, that more advanced players have better alternatives to that are more skillful to employ; which isn’t true when it comes to feinting.

      If anything, I’d say that based on that video, feinting would be a foo strategy, if it weren’t for the fact that it’s the best thing to do at the moment. Oftentimes, players I fight who feint often are significantly worse when it comes to basic blocking.

      How would I go about countering this play style with a dagger?

      @Dr.Nick:

      I guess I’m the only person in Chivalry that doesn’t like heads exploding from fists.

      Try only person in the world.

      I agree with Dr. Nick D=

      TO all you ppl that think that
      “Oh your just a bad player, get better at it”
      “Oh you didnt swing faster, didnt do this do that”
      “Oh your story doesn’t sound right”
      PLEASE GET LOST

      someone said they saw 50-10 maa in TO map? well, I have seen 61-6 on stoneshill before. The oddds of an MAA to survive against 2-4players coming at him is MUCH higher than a pro vanguard or knight given the same situation against AVERAGE players.

      Your story didn’t add up though, and I don’t think that it’s a big deal that MaA are good at running away [if I’m hit by an arrow, I run away or anything will kill me], if you had to kill those 2-4 players, choose knight. Also in pugs, Knights are almost always the ones with ratios like 40-8.

      Now, I don’t say remove dodge, dodge is fine, it’s just the forward dodge that’s “out of place”. I mean “dodge”, as the name says, avoiding something and not to charge at something.

      So, just give it a try. Next time you play Maa try not using forward dodge at all.

      I use forward dodge to actually dodge…

    • RE: The sling must be fixed

      This occurs on every map, as far as I’m aware. There’s also the issue of your sling not allowing you to hold shots [it just flings them].

      Yes, attacking a parried person could also cause them to be knocked backwards, and there’s no penalty if you just sprint away from a person who blocked you: they lose stamina from the block, they don’t have the initiative against you for a counter attack, and chasing them down or standing still is not always an option.

      @NaTe:

      When I’m in the mood for it, I love fighting the pro MAAs, such a challenging and exhilarating fight. Get’s your blood pumping when you take them out after a massive fight.
      I find MAAs have a general pattern, then each of them branch off that general pattern into their own styles. You just have to try and adjust for their different styles.

      I think most MAA I fight dance and dodge in to strike, which is a pain in the ass to fight. Most of the time I can’t be bothered to actually try against a fellow maa, so I just go for hit trades or flinches. In any case, I’m curious as to what you think the general pattern actually is and what the branches are.

      Poseyjmac, today I was fooling around with daggers and I went 37-15 with maybe 5 Kills due to fire pots and the rest due to the hunting knife [on defense against a team of 10 with 4 players above level 30 while I was the only one above level 30 on my team], earlier, on attack, I went ~2-1 with thrusting dagger in two different maps, so I wouldn’t take what you see in pug scores too seriously.

      BB why not Broadswords, which generally 3 shot you? Otherwise I pretty much agree.

      AND RELEASE NORSE SWORD!

      How bad would release Norse Sword be now that you can’t combo stabs [you can two shot a vg with it, but that’s at the same speed as the warax which can also do that, and the overhead would be reduced]? Do you have the stats?

      @Slaughtervomit:

      I think any kind of forcing of “balance” based on ranks is stupid.

      Why is balance in quotes? A team of 30s vs a team of 20s is typically a complete slaughter D=.
