      @SlyGoat:

      You say that every patch.

      You should be happy for every damn person that comes back after a patch and checkes the game. You should roll out the red carpet for them. But instead u make “funny” comments on them. But maybe u count on the endless hords of fresh meat to get the money in. What the fuck should u care if they leave frustrated after a few month.

      Guss when I will stop making these comments… its not that hard to guess.

      I’m pissed and I probably shouldn’t write but there is realy nothing else I can do to calm me down.

      edit: and before someone tells me I got owned and got pissed. I did 3 TO matches and I was on the top 3 in everyone of them.

    • Fuck this shit…

      … till next patch.
      realy why bother with balance updates when the whole game is still a piece of shit.
      50% of my swings go through
      30% of my blocks are ignored
      and now new and exciting! 75’% of my death are one shot kills from accross the map.

      Realy if never gotten so much rage for so little money.

    • RE: Is CMW one of the most enraging games??

      This game is the most rage inducing if ever played and there are a couple of reasons:

      • I can stand to lose because I’m bested. But I can’t stand to lose because of some bug glitch or ghostswing bullshit -> unfortunately this game is full of that bullshit -> rage^10
      • feint gambling
      • It has SOOOO much potential but it deliver less and less with every patch its frustrating

      Guys this is not about feint only.
      Example?

      Face hugging was an attack method. One may argue that it was overpowered, but instead of adding a counter, like fast kick, they added a force field bubble to get rid of it entierly. This is, what will make the game dull and boring in the end.

    • A plea to TBS

      @SlyGoat:

      1. You’re supposed to feint. It’s a game mechanic we want players to utilize, otherwise it wouldn’t exist. The no-feint playstyle was started as a protest of the feint mechanic being too luck based; we’re cutting down on this to make it something entirely skill and timing based. It would be impossible to balance feints to be useful but not broken while at the same time catering to the no-feint style of play.

      I thought it was pretty obviouse why Chivalry was such a success in the beginning. But the more patches TBS slaps at us the more I think they have no fucking clue.

      The number one feature why Chivalry is fun is DIVERSITY. Make a buttload of attacks, make a buttload of countermeasures. Then let the player decide what they want to use. balance a little bit so they are all almost equaly successfull. And there u go a ton load of fun.

      All TBS seams to do is trying to balance there ONE and only supercalifragilisticexpialidocious attack and counter combo. Don’t they realize that they game will be fucking boring when they actually would achieve this somehere in the next 50 years? Feint should be one in many possible methods. And all methods should be counterable NOT ONE method should be luck based. The outcome would be decided by the methods u chose and how good ur opponent can react to them and if u can supries him by an attack he didn’t anticipate. This works better the more methods there are in the game. If there is only one method left in the game this method HAS TO BE luck based.

      TL/DR Increase Diversity don’t kill it!

    • RE: CU1 Patch 2 BETA

      Increased collision radius for enemies to reduce the impact of ‘facehugging’.

      How does this work with knifes and daggers? With a ping <50 I often had the problem that I wasbouncing against his hitbox but was still unable to hit him. I had to lean 45° forward to hit him. I asume this change makes it even more difficult now.

      @Panzerlang:

      Well, I guess if the sprint is also being used as the short forward-rush it can’t be disabled. Unless…a double-tap on the W key can be used for the short forward-rush! Wow, that was easy!

      In which case, disable the ‘sprint’ when within ten feet of an enemy.

      Seriously…go see how far you can sprint…or even jog…in a full suit of plate armour. And then wave a bloody great sword around. :roll:

      @Towe:

      @restinpieces:

      Dancing ak advanced footwork is the number on fun factor for me in the game. It enables u to fight multiple targets and it bring diversity to the fights. Stop arguing with the immersion bullshit if something breaks immersion then it is the whole game, because nothing of it is realy realistic. deal with it.

      So you would enjoy the game as much without graphics, just some stickman on a grey platform? Lets face it, immersion is fun (we all play this to enjoy the fantasy of fighting, actually were just pressing buttons) and should be balanced with gameplay.

      Now I dont have a problem with a guy HITTING (aka doing dmg) to his first opponent then turning around to throw the next combo strike at another one.

      However if I parry or block your attack you should feel that (it throws me back even) and have a harder time continue running around. Thats why I favour the make block stop sprint idea that was posted a while ago.

      I would enjoy that yes. I would sure miss the eye candy but i would still love it. I also have no problem with beeing stopped during a block as long as I can start sprinting afterwards.

      @Panzerlang:

      Make it so that sprint does not work once the player is within ten feet of an enemy. Anyone who thinks these guys sprinted into combat, much less fought WHILE sprinting, is ignorant of the reality anyway.

      That would be stupid as [enter prefered cus word here]
