Steam downloaded something for my Chivalry today after it said that an update was needed. This is post-content update 1. Does anybody know what changed??

On every map except FRIGID I get between 50-60 FPS in fights, but when I am on the FRIGID map I get just 20-30 FPS. Dxdiag doesn’t read my gpu, it only reads my intel hd graphics but I do know that Chivalry sees my GPU. Otherwise I wouldn’t be getting those FPS on the other maps. My specs are as follows:
3rd Generation Intel Core i7-3630QM Processor( 2.40GHz 6MB)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64
NVIDIA GeForce GTX660M 2GB
8.0GB PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM 1600 MHz
15.6" HD Glare with integrated camera 1366x768
500GB 7200 rpm
I guess I’m just wondering if the problem is on my end or if it is a problem with the map itself. Any and all help appreciated

OoOh haha. I get it. Anyway, all my previous problems with the beta have disappeared except for one. I get 60fps on all maps except for 12 fps on Frigid. I am not even allowed to lower my graphical settings mid game to a playable setting.

As a follow up to my previous question/suggestion- Could a horizontal swing from the left to the right be initiated by first rolling back the wheel as if for a vertical slice but quickly tapping the horizontal attack button to continue moving your sword arm from over the head- to left for a left to right horizontal swing? I feel this is a more applicable method for Chivalry than Mount & Blade or JK3 attack directions. The buttons and timing make sense for a real life swing from that side and that way I don’t have to alter my foot or mouse movement. Combos can continue in the same fashion as before for horizontal swings, but when you go from a stab or a vertical slice you have the option of doing either forms of a horizontal attack per their button configurations. For those who prefer not to use or care about left to right swings outside of combos, it doesn’t matter because their procedure in how they fought before is unaffected. Boom. Solved. Can you make this happen? Thanks TornBanner!

Alternative controls method: Free form attacks. Same concept as blocking but with attack directions. Think Mount & Blade with not 4 but an entire clock face of attack directions whose paths can be altered mid swing (like they already are)

I fence competitive sabre for a collegiate team. One of the bread and butter moves in sabre is a feint, but one of the most effective feints is one in which the ending attack is vastly different than what the defender first anticipated.
- I would like to feint from the right then attack from the left (and vice versa)
- This would mean having MORE THAN ONE HORIZONTAL ATTACK BUTTON
- I would LOVE a left mouse button/left attack and then right mouse button/right attack setup.
- block could be a thumb mouse button or both left and right pressed at the same time.
