You’re not the only one. I think it’s like this for everyone right now.

Huge HUD on low resolutions
I’m pretty sure this has been said before, and I had really hoped for it to be fixed in the content update, but no. The games HUD is apparently a fixed size, so when playing on low resolutions - the HUD elements pretty much covers the entire screen.
Would it be possible to make the HUD scale dynamically to adjust to resolution changes?
These screenshots are taken on a 1280x800 resolution so you can see what I mean:
RE: What's the Alternate Swing key called in config?
Go to C:\Users<your name="">\Documents\my games\Chivalry Medieval Warfare\UDKGame\Config and open the file called UDKGame.ini.
Scroll down until you get to the part called [UTGame.UTPlayerInput].
Add this line in the bindings part:
Change “KEY” to the key you want to bind it to. This will make you do a left horizontal swing whenever you press this key. :)</your>
RE: [VG] Thy Flanker - The Benefits of Flanking
TBH I don’t like Flanking. It’s kinda cheap when your opponent circles off your screen and hit you on your side without you looking. Unless I’m mistaking it for something else, I really hope the devs fix something about it.
Awareness of what’s going on around you, and this will never be a problem. It’s completely fair to punish people for this if they are playing with tunnel-vision - only reacting to what’s going on straight ahead.
RE: [MECH] How Do I Footwork?
As a main MAA myself, good footwork is crucial. I am working on not having to rely on the dodge ability at all, by learning the ranges of all weapons and then judge the correct distance to make to the opponent before attacking. Also, being able to read the animations fast, enables you to simply move a little to the left or right and avoid getting hit at all - while being up close with the opponent.
Another thing I have found really useful as a MAA to improve footwork, is to practice duels as an archer with the broad dagger only. This way, you are as vulnerable as you can get with weak armor, low damage and minimal weapon range - and the only way to survive is mainly good footwork as you can’t dodge out of harms way. When you can beat good knights and vanguard players like this without even getting hit, playing a game afterwards as MAA is going to feel like a breeze.
