      I just miss being able to fight a bunch of people at once way back when. Then sprint interrupt happened. I guess it was more than that too. It was just one patch that greatly lowered the skill ceiling and I lost that feeling of “I can still get better at this game.”

      CS:GO has the same problem compared to the previous iterations of CS.

      Using your argument, all weapons should be balanced so that throwing axes/knives are a viable setup on their own. This is what you are replacing with your shield.

      I’d say that it needs to be removed from the game and is it is unintentional to be able to bypass flinch in this manner. That said, it’s really easy to do by mistake without even realizing it while playing as MaA. I catch myself doing it by mistake all the time just trying to dodge and attack normally.

      People complaining that shields are weak has always irked me. It is your utility item. It passively blocks projectiles behind you when not being used, blocks projectiles from the side without bringing block up while holding, is immune to feints, and can be switched on the fly if you don’t want to use it in a certain situation. Comparatively, you could choose to use throwing items as your utility. Something that can be used a few times for a small amount of damage and then is gone. If anything, shields should take up the primary weapon slot with their current functionality as it is ridiculously strong compared to your other utility options.

      Not really sure about the Warbow nerf. I would have kept that warbow where it was, and brought the heavy crossbow down to the same damage as warbow and give it broadhead bonuses. Allow archers to kill each other in one shot, while doing huge damage to MaA but not one shot, while also doing much less damage to heavy classes because of the broadhead effect. The point of the Crossbows should be that the projectile speed is higher and easier to hit targets, but reload is slow and immobile.

      You may also bring the bodkin bonus down a bit if you are worried about the bows doing too much damage to heavy classes when using bodkin (not that anyone does).

      The worst is when I overhead maul someone, they parry, and my teammate’s head explodes because he was standing behind the intended target.
