Maybe both fighters might find a server with similar ping, so the fight is even.
BTW: I have no time to fully dedicate to this idea, so if anybody wants to take over it, you are very welcome.
I have been thinking about creating a boxing league similar to real life boxing tournaments.
Rules would be:
The final result of each combat would be submitted and then a list similar to this would be updated:
Muhammad Ali: 6- 0 - 0
Rocky Marciano: 2 - 2 - 0
George Foreman: 0 - 2 - 8
Then anyone would be able to challenge any boxer in the list to a combat. Then, for example, a month later, a tournament could be held with the 10 top boxers in the list, so we could decide the best boxer in the game.
What do you think about it?
Which rules should we set in order to avoid scam and fights for the score?
(Example: Screenshot must be submitted with both boxers confirming the score of the combat)
(Example: Combats should have a neutral referee)
Would you participate?
I recently bought a 4-pack and gifted a couple of copies to my brother and a friend of mine. My suggestion is that there be an option to display your team’s player names above their heads when they’re nearby, so that you can find your friends quickly and group up with them. This small change would add so much to the gameplay for people that intend to play the game consistently with friends.
Perhaps also, though this would be slightly harder to implement, there should be a party option where you can join the same party as your friends outside of the game and have their names displayed in a different colour above their heads in-game from any distance at the push of a button.
Thanks for hearing me out. I really hope to see this implemented as playing with friends really isn’t as satisfying as I had hoped for the reason it’s too hard to fight with them side by side. Even if you don’t think this is a good idea, as someone who followed you from the Half-Life 2 a reply from a developer would be very much appreciated. Other than this I love the game. Thanks!
I support this suggestion. It’s completely necessary.
In this gamemode, everyone enters the game but cannot harm each other.
Instead, you can ‘challenge’ another person (Example, using ‘C’ key while looking to your opponent) and the person can accept the duel (Pressinng ‘C’ looking to you).
Then the duel starts. Both are healed up, and then one of them is dead, the duel ends.
This way, people can duel each other without having to wait for their turn.
