    • RE: Lagging on EVERY server.

      Hey guys sorry, I was visiting family for the holidays.

      @Rickvs - I’m not sure that would really help. It seems pretty involved so I’ll save it as a last resort.

      @Flippy - I live in Connecticut so I only play on east servers, and thus I only tested eastern points on pingtest. The highest ping I got was 90 for Florida, and no server had any packet loss. I also tried Chicago, which said 43 ping and no packet loss. I am on wireless, and no my ISP hasn’t changed in the past year. I do however use a wireless USB adapter, which I know is garbage, but like I said this issue is a new aberration in my experience with the game.

      @MonkeyFiend - my packet loss was 1%. 240 sent, 237 received. The time for each reply was above 100ms, but none above 150ms.

      @Rickvs:

      Any chance you could be more exact?
      Do the lagspikes occur at regular intervals? Does your ping slowly go up?

      I’ve had quite a bit of lag issues in this game so I think I can come up with a suggestion or two if I understand your exact problem a bit better :)

      It happens multiple times a game. I’m nto sure what you mean by “regular intervals”, but it will usually spike up to 150+ in one fell swoop, then slowly… slowly… go back down. Rinse and repeat all game, every game.

      I have 150 steam hours in this game. When I played in the spring, this rarely ever happened. It’s a new issue for me.

    • Lagging on EVERY server.

      I haven’t played this game since like, April. I just recently picked it back up again. However, I have lag spikes in every server I play in. The server could be down the street from me. doesn’t matter; still lagged.

      I don’t lag the whole game, but I have lag spikes every single time. Now, I can see why I would lag in a server that is far away. But I mean, when I lag in every server, regardless of how close it is, something is wrong with the net code in this game for a certainty.

      Someone please help me? I don’t want to have to deal with lag spikes every single damn time I play this game.

      @The:

      http://www.elgato.com/elgato/na/mainmenu/products/capture-convert/GameCaptureHD.en.html

      That works too, the only issue is you have to get a powered hdmi splitter because it doesn’t get enough power on its own without it.

      And the fact that it’s $180….

      @clayton-bigsby:

      this is quite possibly the worst clan i’ve ever had the displeasure of playing with. First of all they NEVER practice so they probably have some of the worst organization i’ve ever seen in my life. It’s like watching a bunch of babies crawl through mud. Dueling is an even funnier, and an even worse spectacle to witness. Wild swings and terrible movement, combined with the inablity to block lmb spam makes for simple victories across the board. I’d say their leader has to be the worst duelist i’ve ever encountered by far. Their teamspeak is just full of feint-only conversation, basically complaining about feints and how the game is totally broken in every single way. Just play the game and stop being a bunch of whiney babies about it. Plus they all have weird names, and are probably all 13 and below…freaking children man… I’m pretty sure they’re all hackers too, all of them. I heard they get them from a site called blacksnake.com , which seems to be the most popular site to get vac-proof cheats for chivalry right now. They probably tell their mothers that they need a new xbox live subscription, so their poor mothers are paying for their hax month to month as well. It’s just sad man, they’re totally bringing this game to a new low.

      In conclusion: worst clan ever! i wouldn’t consider joining them if they paid me in rupies and ginger snaps!

      come on guy - this has be some type of joke response right?!

      Just go to the link… That will supply your answer :o

      I didn’t know about the FOV change bind until a couple weeks ago. Now I feel like a true phantomwarrior360headshotnoscopesniperelite when I zoom in mah bow/crossbow.

      What is that?

    • RE: The Holy Water Sprinkler

      I can’t fathom why people think the Norse Sword is bad. I used it almost exclusively up until just a couple weeks ago and had zero problems. 2 stabs kills a vanguard, 4 a knight. I’m pretty sure its stab does more damage than the broadsword.

      Quarterstaff is the worst MAA weapon by far. All three of the axes are solid. Falchion’s range is buggy, once it’s fixed that will be a great weapon (it already is if you get accustomed to compensating for its shortcomings).

      @dudeface:

      I think I will reserve judgement on the MAA as a class until the patch comes out. Facehugging and blocking problems aren’t something directly related to the MAA as a balance issue, so much as they are something that MAAs can better take advantage of, perhaps.

      That’s why I never facehugged to begin with. ;)
