      I understand being a female and not wanting to play male all the time, but this game works historically, Joan of ark, was burned alive EVEN tho she has won several battles for the for french against the English, this was used as a punishment as well as a deterrent, for any other women.

      Lets face it this game has ‘’ Class type’s’’ and there were no women class types in medieval times.

      No such regiment or knight etc.

      And to make this work you for you, and many other females out there you would need to have a female equivalent of each class type.

      There is an even bigger reason why women did not wear Armour, as a knight…

      noone were built for women to start with.

      What does a female version look like ? no one knows and if Torn banner studio’s were to make it so, it take the reaslism, and histiory out of this game, and turn it into a fantasy.

      Besides, you know the rule, Men don’t hit girls :P.

      One reason i know of that women were not allowed to fight, especially on the front lines were that men, feel compassion for the women, and will go in and risk his own life/ comrades life, for her.

      I must admit when my GF plays video games, i can’t help but go out my way to save her :P, or loose points or whatever.

      yeh it changes the fabric of the game.

      And i could imagine some stupid morons would use female characters in the wrong way if you know what i mean.

      lets just keep it as it is. >.>

      I always play as females in games, it’s funny YOU GET ALOT OF UNWANTED ATTENTION, and all the while their chatting up a man :D. kekekekee jokes on them.

      Okay so i made a simple test video complication, sorry about the cartoon style, but it’s a test.

      This is a link to my Chivalry Medieval warfare video on you tube.

      Now that I found out how to render a video correctly after this hiccup, I’m working on making a story driven movie. if you will…

      I have made a decent script can last a few episodes, and even include drama within the wars of chivalry.

      However in the future, I May need volunteers to fight a HUGE WAR. that’s been planned.

      Two sides charging towards each other, I’ll do the rest.

      So keep UPDATED for that volunteering spot ;) credits due.

      Some people in this game, can’t wait to get rid of archers, There as good as man at arms with the blade, more then one archer Your not fighting face to face your fighting the whole 200 metre’s towards them…

      Some people prefer archers… So here is a poll.

      Yeah i must admit back in call of duty games, i would join the winning side, mostly… so showing the score board, should not matter, the information you need really is already their, when you join the server, it shows how many players are in, I don’t mind if you want to know which team your friend is on… but you can’t pick a team based on it’s score you pick a team based on balance.

      This is very effective, because it eliminates pub stompers.

      I have a clan, and it’s no good if my clan shows our tag on MASON order and randoms on the other team.

      so a bit of mix n match is good for all, however i feel they should implement a match making system, perhaps, I find that when i’m on the loosing team, i can see a huge rank difference between the two teams,

      YOU KNOW WHAT, that’s actually a really good idea, snow maps, and rain, so much rain, that it reduces your visability that fixes the archers >.> i think we have a rain system, but we need thick heavy rain :D and fog !

    • I dnt know if it's anything new but..

      People are starting to get some really DODGY, kills, i wont mention the players name, i reckon their a decent player, but today has shown differently, I noticed, that this guy does not miss with his Arrows…

      I saw 2 Arrows shot at me, both of which flown miles away from me, i can see it hitting the wall behind me i was like HAHAH yeah… 1 second later i get HIT ? their is nothing hitting me no other archers, it was as if, he would miss and shoot near and i would still get hit, when you do get hit by an archer you can see it coming, not this time i saw it swoop to my left many times, and i would get hit regardless EVERY TIME, the last shot, i wasn’t in view !! but as i said shoot near me it hist me anyways, I really do honestly believe some people have modified or ‘’ hacked ‘’ some aspects of the game.

      In this particular game, an individual voted a KICK, on this player, because he/she suspected what i also suspected.

      Arrows missing and player taking damage.

      This needs to be dealt with quick, before people get really put off.

      You can argue maybe it’s lag, no i was on 48 ping, and the player in question, was under 100 also…

      No lag. perfect game, dodgy player.

      Oh also, his first shot bounced off the wall and curved… ? is that Normal or a bug ?

      Wanted to add that i’ve started seeing a similar thing happening in the past week or so. The person i am fighting against would swing incredibly fast(much more so than the weapon would allow) and hit me before my swing even got to them and I started swinging first. This was me as a MAA with a Falchion vs a Knight wielding a Longsword. Normally the full swing takes about 1 second (horizontally) but this person completed 2 full non-combo swings in that time(both swings were counter-clockwise) and killed me. The first swing interrupted my swing and the second was the killing blow. I’ve seen this happen very rarely and have only seen it with 2-handed weapons. Is their a way they could somehow bug the weapon into making it have a swingspeed of another weapon?

      Not sure, but what you say is true, I don’t know if people are cheating or it’s a bug or they altered somthing >.> but somthing is not rigth when they cancel your attacks with out block. >.>

    • Swinging…

      I don’t know if this is normal or what, but I’ve come here to find out ?

      Usually when i swing my sword and the opposition has also swung theirs we tend to hit one another, and whom ever has the least HP gets killed, and the other badly injured…

      Well I was just in a game, and every time i attacked this ONE PERSON, they would slash right back and hit me I was playing as MMA, I had a speedy weapon, but this guy was vanqurd using a sword that can not be any quicker ? but I swing my weapon just as i’m, about to hit this person, they managed to swing back twice the speed as a vangaurd and strike me, cancelling my attack completly ?

      so my question is when two people strike, does it cancel one attackers strike ? or do they hit each other?

      I call BS on this guy… strikes 3 x faster with a 2hander, and every time i swing it gets cancelled out… and it’s not even a COMBO.

      Why is any body complaining about 1h and 2 H ?

      As the second comment states, if you miss with your 2h the 1h can kill you, NOT TRUE, keep your distance, and use COMBO attacks, i deliberately swing left as a miss…. they then think… haha, they run to wards me only to do a BACK SWING, seriously any one completed the training ?

      A back swing is very good attack, it’s the same with guys with shields if i hit them, i hit there shield every time because it swings left… and their shield is on their left ( my right )

      But if i miss on purpose i come back with a back swing on their open side.

      A 2H does good damage for good reason, but speed is not the best… a 1H does little damage but has speed it’s a classical, fast vrs strong, as a result, it’s down to the players skill.

      if your against a 1h then keep distance and do many stabs n over strikes.

      if your against a 2h and ur a 1h, go in fast and close and readily hit them, and if you are being attacked very closely and you can’t see whats going on ? most people stand there attempting to block, no I moved away before they get to me.

      The game is balance mostly, it’s down to your skill !!

      I’ve played like 6 free for alls in big games, and ive come top every time in a row so far…

      AND I PLAY ALL CLASSES BUT ARCHER…

      it’s down to skill and your timing.

      A friend of mine was attacking then block then attack then block and repeat, and i said to him on microphone, use feint… the enemy blocked and he attacked as he released his block… ! perfect…

      obviously my friend has skipped the tutorial and forgotten it, it teaches you how to play, all you have to do is remember, if some 1 repeatedly beats you, try to find a way to change that. reflect on what your doing wrong. this game is all about skill !! not weapon op or class op.

      NO, you can’t block with a bow, ? I’m sorry but a BIG SWORD that swings with it’s weight, will go through the bow and you…

      This game, likes to be as realistic as it can, I’m sure in history, bow blocking was regarded as stupid.

      I can see what you want to implement, but this is just the consequence of being an archer.

      If you want melee to melee you should be a melee class, If your ranged don’t expect much frontal combat, and when it does appear, you better bring out your secondary QUICKER. it’s down to the player to switch weapons, earlier in order to block.

      I think in some cases this is obvious but in other’s, it is not… for example the objective of setting Buildings on fire, and windmill, Today, i ran around with everything on fire, but for what ever reason the round hasn’t moved on yet, it turns out we had 1 more tent to burn out…

      I like the realistic ness occasionally but a few tips wouldn’t go a miss, some people want them other’s do not… they should Include this as an OPTION. tool tips yes or no ? at the menu ?

      There isn’t a problem with archer… more of the lines or ARCHERS…

      Having one will hit and miss… having 4 shooting constant arrows at you, DEAD…

      Rather annoying !

      I think they should place a CAP and thats about it, 2 archers per 10 players on team.

      So if you have :
      10 players 2 will be archers
      20 players 4 will be archers
      30 players 6 will be archers

      Because currently, It’s looking like 4 archers out of 10 on a team… facing say another 10… YOU GET MESSED UP MAN.

      Okay you made some points, and Most i do not agree with i think it is down to your skill.

      This game relies on that, I don’t find arching particular to easy… However, Alot of people are getting frustrated with archers… one is okay… a few more is VERY DEADLY… i can’t even run 30 feet around them with out getting hit by 2 arrows or more from multiple archers…

      In some games, people rage and leave the server due to archers… to many, on a team, or to many arrows flying at you, but some times you come across an archer who IS VERY GOOD, and he alone changes the balance of the game, There is always one, so i dont’ think they shoudl improove the archer, the only thing that needs improving is the noises you mentioned, and i would like to add, making the cursor RED when over the enimie, like every other class…

      But then again, this is improving, the archer making it easy.

      I think they should reduce the reload speed, but this game likes to be realistic ish, so might not happen.

      There has been a patch, recently the first patch, and hit detection IS FAR BETTER THEN BEFORE, and it is something they are constantly working on.

      Also, as for weapon swap, yes I agree with you, it’s not fast as an archer…

    • Player Camera swap.

      Okay I aint sure if you can do this already.

      I certainly haven’t any success.

      I love the free roaming camera, After death…

      But Why not have a cycle players, so you can always see the last men standing., instead of flying around looking for them.

      I love the free roam cam tho keep this, but add cycle players ?

    • How about Pick up your thrown axes.

      When throwing an Axe and you miss ? You don’t half feel the want to pick it back up if there is no ammo box around, so why not implement this ?

      A good example on thrown room level, I thrown an axe and well I missed, instead I hit the door Arch, as i ran passed this I felt if i could pick this up I could try again.

      And thats how my suggestion came about.

      Any suggestions.

      Okay I have downloaded the Dedicated servers from steam tools, when I start it up I get a black box…

      So whats the next step ???

      I’ve had a look on google And everybody seems to know where to download this but not to run it.

      A little light on this is appreciated. thanks.

      If you were 9v2 and they have a defensive advantage, you don’t need to fight them there since you could easily just wait for the timer to win the round or wait till they decide to come out and slay them.

      Things like that would never happend if the nine players would have understimated them and got owned because of that, deal with it. Just because they did a very efficient tactic doesn’t mean that the enviroment where the tactic includes should be removed.

      A whole team was wiped out more then once by 2 people. whom were able to ‘’ EXPLOIT’’ an area, in such a way that You either run out of time, or you commit suicide or u charge in and get ya head kicked in.

      It’s not really a tactic, i get it if they want to be defensive thats why people run to the barn… and hang about THATS FINE, but the graveyard is more of an exploit.
