Feinting is way too imbalanced, either the window for the cancel needs to be shortened or it should cost a lot more stamina. It should be used a lot more tactically than it is.
The knight takes too much damage to go down compared to the amount he puts out and he doesn’t pay for it nearly enough in speed. They also don’t use up NEARLY enough stamina.
How does it take anywhere near as much time for a dagger to ready up for an attack as it does a large two handed sword? That makes no sense and leaves lighter weapons in a corner where you have to second guess if you can actually land an attack on a 2 handed sword user before he already engages a swing and knocks your head off.
There needs to be a decent window to retaliate after you block an attack. Right now it’s just a spam fest and random luck as to who fucks up first between two equally skilled opponents or they get into a lock down where neither one of them wants to make a move.
The range on some VG weapons is too much for the damage and speed, especially the wooden shafted weapons. You’re essentially hitting someone with a stick and doing max damage to them.
Archer has way too little health, you should not be 1 shotting them, I’m not asking for them to be knights but atleast give them a slight chance, they should have a tiny amount of HP left.
For the speed based class MAA is amazingly not fast, they are barely faster than the other classes, that does not justify losing a ton of weapon range, health and damage for what amounts to a slightly faster run.
The window to attack a shield user after you kick them is NOTHING, it needs to go up atleast enough to let you pull something off, that should be the punishment for being able to block EVERYTHING as long as the guy with a shield can pay one iota of attention to the fight.
Dashing as a MAA costs nowhere near enough stamina, if you watch two MAA fight from a distance it looks like something out of a Japanese anime.
The whole archery system is a farce, as someone who is even VAGUELY familiar with a bow will tell you they are a LOT better than this game would tell you, arrows are too slow, dropis questionable and the two types of arrows are nearly indistinguishable.
The javalin takes roughly 7,000 years to “reload” and while it’s loading you can’t even block, why did you think that would be a good thing? Not only THAT but are you even familiar with what a javalin IS? The javalins in this game are about as fair a representation of real javalins as a paper cup is to the Titanic. Javalins go further than 5 feet infront of you, unlike what this game would suggest, it would infact have an effective range of a few dozen METERS!
But then you have the endless bugs! I’ve hit people with a swing, had my attack blocked and then seen them drop dead. I’ve done overhead strkes, been blocked and then sliced someones arms off. I myself was jumping at someone and they did an overhead strike that hit my legs but cut my head off. I’ve hit others and been hit and found my shield and perry have done nothing.
These among other reasons are why I’m deleting the game, there’s no point playing a game like this for anything other than mindless hack and slash fun, it grants an illusion of skill but there are so many hidden factors and bugs that no fight means much. It’s a bit of fun but not what I’d call balanced by any means, if they expect to release any DLC they should atleast fix these issues. (BTW I spent around 100 hours on the game, not just knee jerk reactions).
