While I actually like the 6-team modes, what I think is needed is obj mode as from MW. Objective mode is what has kept me going back to MW since it’s just so much fun. I hope the developers really are thinking of bringing Obj mode into DW. We already have working assets as cannons and catapults so it would be really nice to see them being used for more than random assets on a deathmatch map.

Bugs still in DW also apparent in Chiv.
Hey,
1. I really like the new expansion DW, but I can see that this particular bug is still apparent. See attached image. Sometimes when spawning, I have only seen it when spawning on a server for the first time, there is a part of the screen “stuck” as a watermark.
2. Lagspikes like the ones in Chiv are still apparent. It seems like the latency is alright, but suddenly there will be a server wide lag spike. It’s like it’s building up until things are forced in sync with a large lag spike. I really hope you take a good look at the netcode for DW. It would be sad if this problem wasn’t fixed. I’m sure it is fixable by your, now larger than ever, dedicated team.
Ty for the good gameplay so far.

RE: First Major Content Update to Land in January
What about we just wait until it is released.

RE: A Plea to Torn Banner
Well as much as I’d like to see stable and bug free gameplay I think, from a business perspective, adding new content is what keeps a lot of people still playing the game.
Some of the more hardcore/competitive oriented people (Including myself) would prob. want more focus on the current gameplay, but I know I’m not the majority of the current pool of players.
For the free update / cosmetic dlcs, it is a great idea, but I think their current development team is limiting these ideas. Mods will do them good since the free workforce in the modding community negates the lack of many in-house developers. New mods could create a good portion of extra buzz around youtube and the like.

RE: 1st Person vs 3rd person POV.
I played 3rd for the first week. Then forced myself to play 1st person and haven’t looked back since. The challenge of playing 1st is forcing yourself to visualize the players around you and keep count of block/attacks. When you get good enough you start to feel the rhythm of the attacks and can block multiple directions.
- It is of paramount importance to force yourself away from tunnel vision. Better sometimes to hit once and then run past enemies instead of getting the kill just before you get flanked.

RE: Macro'ers
The problem could be annoying when playing duel matches. Ppl feinting at precisely the last moment possible as Martin stated…

RE: Thanks for the games - But no thanks for the game.
Why don’t we discuss this in a more civilized manor?
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, not Chivalry: Royal Tea Party
What has the name of the game to do with speaking about each other in a proper way and being constructive?

Why are you all being so aggressive? Its all a massive mix of calling names and saying people are stupid. Why don’t we discuss this in a more civilized manor?

RE: The slash attack
I think saying that it bypasses every parry around is pushing reality of things. Speeding up or slowing down either of the three attacks are valid tactics and are blockable.
You might experience that you need to block much earlier than usual, but this is absolutely doable. Playing on duel servers made me much better at this. Playing in 1st person is also a must if you wan’t to work the speed/slow tactics (And countering).

RE: First Major Content Update to Land in January
I have never seen LMB spam as something I couldn’t fix with blocking and general situational awareness.
