      I actually do hope you have something like reversed overheads. It ads just another layer of tactic.

      If you concentrate a bit, they’re easily counterable, yet are hard enough (if you do it manually and don’t use a macro) to be satisfying if and when you pull them of.

      Besides, in high level of play, it gets quite boring when neither side can land a hit.

      Deadliest Warrior was (is?) faster than vanilla Chivalry and it was a terrible spam fest.

      Vanilla Chivalry is not only much better but also way more popular. So please don’t listen to idiots who have no idea about good games.

      I think the swing speeds are fine, but the rest of the posting I agree with. When I play this game, which is already slowing way down, I find myself drawn towards the ranged weapons because close combat is just dull now. You’re putting yourself at a disadvantage if you don’t rely almost completely on LMB, which ruins the deep combat system I love so much in Medieval Warfare.

      This is pretty much the sad truth.

      The game has become way less skillful. Easiest way now is just to abuse the bad system by running around and slashspamming like a moron, killing all skill involvement, immersion and most importantly FUN.

      The topic was to increase the performance. We all agree that the human eye doesn’t see in frames per second as it is no camera.

      On Topic: please, Torn Banner, make your game atleast as performant as C:MW.

      I did notice that if the game doesn’t immediately load up your level (ie weapons dont become accessible until later), then sometimes it won’t save the xp for that game.

      If by “sometimes” you mean 9 out of 10 times it’s not working, then you’re right.

      If you assume that the Spartan is not going to miss the thrown spear… the best is to interrupt the attack when he is readying the throw.

      I like how you answer w/o reading the OP’s post. He already told you why this suggestion is just silly in OP’s mentioned combat-situation. Reading-comprehension 0/10.

    • Balance Problems

      TL;DR:
      Turn down damage of slash.
      Implement more severe penalties for just mindlessly spamming away one’s stamina.

      1. As with the current wonky hitdetection and stabs/overheads not hittracing where you crosshair is, slash is by far the best way to attack in 90% of all situations.

      Slash is the easiest to hit AND the easiest to do the highest damage, as it’s easier to do max damage as it less randomly counts as “too fast” and do only little damage.

      This leads to really bad gameplay where everyone just zips around sprinting and spamming LMB.

      2. Stamina has way too little impact. LMB Spamming has no downside. You can still spam lmb w/o stamina, if you get blocked, you get back enough stamina and I was never hit after having blocked and being “stunned”. So, everybode just runs around, lmb spamming, panting and moaning like tennisplayers or pornstars. That’s just pretty silly.

      3. This problem gets worse as blocking is still not working as it should and people blocking while not even remotely looking at the weapon they should block. That’s even worse as most attacks are lower than they should, making aiming at the neck not resultung in a decap but aiming WAY above the head will. Quite silly.

      ALSO: Put fucking autoteambalance into teamgates. It’s getting out of hand.

    • Deadliest Warrior Bugs

      Buglist as I play and see them

      1. Spawning not working properly on the spartan map in FFA (atleast it only seen taht problem there).
      You randomly don’t spawn for 30seconds and sometimes even longer, to the point where just one guy is alive and nobody else.

      2. Weapons don’t unlock, atleast in FFA or TDM or Multi TDM.

      3. Hitdetection and blocking VERY wonky.

      4. Sometimes Ninja changes to fists after throwing Ninja Stars.

      5. Half of the time teammarkers (those yellowish triangles above teammate’s heads) aren’t working. Can’t get them working by pressing the corresponding key, either.

      Crosshair is accurate for ranged attacks, though. Crosshair will never correctly match hittraces either, not without making everyone swing the same way/having a moving crosshair, which would be a pain.

      Try it in Chivalry, you hit where your crosshair is with melee attacks. Not in this game.

      Also I NEVER said the crosshair wouldn’t be in the middle in THIS game. I said it wasn’t in COUNTERSTRIKE.
