    • RE: How can TBS…

I haven’t played this game in a long time now. Got sick of all the bullshit reverse overheads type meta, poor netcode, bugs, balance issues, silence from TB on the matters and eventually just uninstalled it.

Instead I took up real sword fighting HEMA style, fuck your reverse overheads do that shit and I’ll stab you in the back of the head, if you even get that far.

      Oh, and playing CSGO.

    • RE: "Z+5" On New Maps And Uptades

I remember first playing this and recommending to it people, one of the major Pro’s for it was the voices and sound effects.
The game wouldn’t even be half as good without them.

Also technical reasons is stupid, the sound effects are loaded and decompressed on the fly, with certain length sounds (changeable in .ini) decompressed and stored in memory. Roughly sounds 2seconds or less in length. So yeah, more voices won’t change much at all.
That is for the PC version anyway, not sure about the Console port.

FIR would make me come back to the game.

LOL, I was semi-serious. You can use Emotiv Headset type equipment to map to keyboard/mouse commands.

    • RE: TPV should be the competitive view

Playing this game in FPV would be like playing Tekken in FPV. It makes no sense, you need to be able to see your hurtboxes and hitboxes. And you can’t see the full arc of your swing in FPV. Or, actually, you can, you just have to set your FOV to 120.

Bro, can you parallel park a car? You don’t need to see a body to know it’s dimensions and how it relates to an environment, use your brain and perceive it in your mind. farrk

Even if the avarage reaction time is 150-300ms I bet most people can react to feints in 100ms because of how used we are to the game, muscle memory.

Wait. What? Even if average reaction time is 150ms (it’s not btw, not even close), I bet people can react in 100ms… umm…

There is a physiological limitation on how fast a signal can travel from the brain to your finger, no amount of ‘muscle memory’ is going to change that. The only way you are getting it faster is to reduce the distance traveled, ie use your eyebrows or other face muscle to trigger the parry, then you can shave off a good 50ms from your reaction time.

lolz you don’t have 150ms reaction time. Also you need to subtract your ping time plus the attackers ping time thanks to attackers side hit detection. So with 150ms master race reaction time. 200- 150-40-40 = -30ms in order to REACT (not react really) to a feint.

The feint window is 200ms. You got plenty of time.

      Except you don’t, maths.

You can read feints with 100 ping,

No you can’t read late-feints with 100 ping on the faster weapons, unless you have godly reaction time of about 150ms or less (which is physiologically impossible if you are using your hands to press a mouse button).
