And here I am…happy I have quit 4 months ago due to no relevant, substantial changes to the game…
Can’t believe so many had patience for so long.
Ambitious try. Fun in the beginning. Let it pass away peacefully.
Thanks anways TB.

Get rid of your AMD cpu…
Just spare the man s time and dont put him through these mostly useless tips that will not give him a single extra fps, guaranteed.
Its ab out the engines code.
Its about the fact that AMD CPUs / Mobo/ Ram/ etc interact soooo much slower together then Intel cpus do. No tune.up can fix internals…-.-.
AMD users will never ever get a fluently running game with good gfx on.
End of story. Face it and make sure to get an Intel next time :-)
Run in 1600x900.
Startup Option in steam -useallavailablecores
Turn off dynamic lighting and shadows.
As an AMD user you ll never get good fps with this engine…at least not with all options turned on.
Only way would be a massive CPU over clock…like over 4ghz
AMD CPU s and this Engine…that’s a tragical story :-).
Good effort Kulin Ban.
All these guys hating on Warband // Crpg controls:
The amount of action…speed…control and joy in high level crpg duelling with level 40 + characters
has yet to be matched by other games…and Warband is old…
Duels lasting 1 main with constant exchange at idiotic speeds…
There is a reason ppl. played crpg/warband for 2000 hours or more…and thats mostly due to responsive and 100% working controls that are so much more intuitive then C:MW.
C:MW is a good game…but it could be so much better and Kulin Ban has made a good effort towards that.
In fact a mixture of Warband and C:MW assets would make a perfect game…but that is wishful thinking :/
War of the roses can not be compared to Warband in any way…it is completly different pace.
Rest assured…
There is absolutely no way for you as an AMD user to get steady 60 fps
with Dynamic Lights on.
-useallavailablecores
Try that as a startup option in steam.
It boosts the game A LOT. Reported…works 100%. Amd or Intel…regardless.
Though dont think this ll get you the desired result.
I got an oc ed 955 and tried everything since release…and I faced the fact that AMD lacks the juice plus the engine dislikes AMD (as it did in Red Orchestra 2 for example)
This fairly badly optimized game struggles On WAYWAYWAY better machines…
Don’t even consider trying it with these specs. No way it will run.
-useallavailablecores
Und er startup options in steam.
New maps…especially Malrics throneroom etc. makes many maps look like a joke. Good job there.
Fps are crappy there…to say the least.
New game modes…etc. all nice.
One question though: Why in gods name is the pole hammer balanced as it is now?
Its historic inspiring example is a Bec de Corbin. A short…highly devastating tin opener.
As it stands now…there is absolutly NO…NO use for this weapon.
Too slow and short combined with pretty bad damage.
Cant follow you guys on that one.
