Nemesis/Cryptic/Phoenix has never beaten our A-team. I think this whole thing is really dumb, Phoenix beat a hacked together B team (that also lost to Syndicate the same night) and nothing more. However, I do believe that Phoenix is the better team now that Omega, RAW, and I have stopped playing (to varying degrees).
I have video evidence of multiple wins against your A team, hell one time you even merced Tyrannis for one of the games we won.

The entire first minute of that video is from a single scrim with your A team mercing Tyrannis. At the 45 second mark you can hear us discussing “sealing the deal”, we had already won at that point and were laughing at the stupid stunt I pulled on log bridge.
From 1:00 to 1:30 or so is another separate game when you had best sling NA Pnobio play, we even had Colonial come back for a single scrim that game when he was super rusty from playing solely CSGO for like a month so it wasnt even our A team. We also won that game.

This is hilarious, even old Nem used to go 50/50 with A team Tempest. Phoenix is a better team now and surely beats them now. Come on lets be serious here people.
Longer Flinch times means you cant do anything for a longer amount of time, meaning you’re really going to want to get that hit off first to flinch your opponent for a chance to combo him for a quick kill. So yes, it will promote more hit-trades.
I played the beta, it was full of messer knights spamming lookdowns for flinches, which is the exact opposite of what everyone wants.
Archer nerf makes me sad, take backstab away but no projectile flinch means shortbow and sling are now useless. Archer nerf will only promote more “sniping arching” with warbow/xbow cause there is no reason to be a support archer anymore without projectile flinch. A solution to this would to bring back projectile flinch but dont have it flinch players mid-parry. Flinch time increase to .9 is going to just re-enforce the hit trade meta that came about in the last patch, which is something nobody wants.
Please fix this. I played the beta and it was bad. I gave feedback as did many others on the changes that should be made but the devs didnt listen.
0/10, please fix in next patch or I just wasted 1,000 hours getting good at a game to have the devs break it for like the millionth time now.
I know this post is really harsh but this has happened so many times in the short time this game has been out.
Still getting serious frame drops unless I disable the HUD. The new HUD is causing massive frame loss. Please optimize and re-release it or expect a mass exodus from the competitive scene, which is currently the only thing keeping Chivalry alive as a game.
So the EQ clan has figured out that the new HUD is to blame for the massive frame rate drops. Once you disable the HUD performance is the same as pre patch. Go figure.
Now that we know whats causing the frame loss can we fix it?
My fps is at 110 at the start of every game, then slowly goes down for a minute until I’m stuck at ~50 fps for the rest of the game.
After playing for a couple hours I have noticed a few more things, feint to parry and CFtP seem a lot slower. Swings randomly go through people. I’m still getting half the fps I used to get pre patch, with the lowest settings and maxframerate set to 110 in the INI files with a 780ti. That is just plain wrong. Certain video settings will alter completely unrelated settings. And finally my cmw.exe has crashed 3 times in the 2 hours of gameplay I have with the new patch.
I had the same thing on my GTX 770. I fixed it by going into Documents\My Games\Chivalry Medieval Warfare\UDKGame\Config, then opening UDKEngine.ini, ctrl+f to find bSmoothFrameRate and either turning it off or upping the max to 144.
Already did that, My monitor is 110hz so I set max framerate to 110 like always, and still get terrible FPS. Even when Im just walking around in an empty server at 110 FPS the game still feels really choppy.
i hate the new washed red/blue colors used to display player names in top right , the old colors had more contrast with the environment , now i have to really look in order to see who killed whom and that’s distracting .

Well there’s your first problem, this game is meant for KB and Mouse, Controller support was just added to say they have it. you really should be using KB+M.
Okay, first let me say that the new UI and menus look fantastic.
But you seriously broke the optimization of this game somehow. I have a heavily overclocked current gen i7, with an nVidia GTX 780 ti. After the new patch I am getting sub 60 FPS, that is absolutely ridiculous. I turned off all the high details settings, including AA, Dynamic lights, and Decals/Ragdolls, didn’t even make a difference.
Im not sure what you did but I would greatly appreciate if you fixed it somehow. I know this sounds selfish, but it makes the game really hard for me to enjoy if I spent 900 hours playing normally then all of a sudden I’m forced to play at half the FPS I was playing at before.
